In recent years, many individuals have turned to online selling as a means of generating additional income. One popular platform for selling products is Amazon, which offers a program called Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) that allows sellers to store their products in Amazon’s fulfillment centers and have them handle packaging, shipping, and customer service.
For those who are new to selling on Amazon FBA, the prospect of making their first $1,000 can seem daunting. However, with the right approach and product research, it is entirely possible for beginners to achieve this milestone. Here are some tips to help you get started on your journey to making your first $1,000 on Amazon FBA in 2023 through beginner product research.
1. Understand Amazon’s FBA program
Before you start researching products, it’s important to have a good understanding of how Amazon FBA works. Familiarize yourself with the fees, requirements, and seller tools that are available to you. This will help you make informed decisions about the products you choose to sell and how you manage your business on the platform.
2. Identify a niche or category
When conducting product research for Amazon FBA, it’s essential to focus on a specific niche or category of products. This will help you narrow down your options and target a specific market, making it easier to identify profitable opportunities. Take the time to research different categories and consider factors such as demand, competition, and profitability.
3. Use tools and resources
There are various tools and resources available to help you with product research on Amazon. Utilize tools such as Jungle Scout, Helium 10, or AMZScout to analyze sales data, estimate demand, and assess competition for different products. These tools can provide valuable insights that will enable you to make more informed decisions about the products you choose to sell.
4. Look for low competition, high demand products
When researching products for Amazon FBA, aim to find products with low competition and high demand. This will give you a better chance of success and help you stand out in the marketplace. Look for products that are not oversaturated, but still have a healthy level of demand that indicates a viable market.
5. Consider private labeling
Private labeling involves selling products under your own brand name, which can help distinguish your products from competitors and build brand equity. When conducting product research for Amazon FBA, consider products that you can source from suppliers and customize with your own branding. This can give you a competitive edge and potentially higher profit margins.
In conclusion, making your first $1,000 on Amazon FBA as a beginner in 2023 is achievable with the right approach to product research. By understanding Amazon’s FBA program, identifying a niche, using tools and resources, and focusing on low competition, high demand products, you can increase your chances of success. With dedication and persistence, you can build a profitable business selling on Amazon FBA and work towards even greater milestones in the future.

Very helpful info but could you talk a little slower please?
is it a good idea to buy a product that has low estimated sales? I bought 10 units of a lego nissan gtr3 but it only had 44 sales per month. Can you advise me on how many estimated sales of a product will it take it to see whether a product is a profitable or not?
I have been selling for 2 years. I have never done $1k month. I hate shopping.. will try OA and then if not work I'm done
I'hv made $10k sales but still there is a problem i am unable to ungate things .need your suggestions
So these coupon items would be 1 time sells, as not likely to be replenishable, right? Also, how many would you recommend buying as a test?
when it comes to making your seller account, you need a credit card right? cant use a debit card? i cant seem to find a reliable answer on this anywhere.
Yes! Love the live sourcing vids. Explaining the process and key points you're looking for as an experienced seller.
Do you have any insights or advice for the UK – I'm wondering if there is a dramatic difference in opportunity to the U.S? Cheers!
I used Frontier to get ungated last month in Beauty and it was easy. But now I am gated in Estee Lauder. I will just keep looking. Thanks, Great video.
Amazon shows "Duo" meaning 2 units for $156. Supplier 1 unit is $79.90, meaning 2 units = $159.80, plus tax will be more than $160. No profit.
Thanks for all your content!
If we purchase your course…. Can you explain all that comes with it outside of what your YouTube videos already show?
Thanks, i love you channel .

That item is selling for $82 on Amazon. Newbies woulda got burned.
The Amazon listing you reviewed is for two units…. Ecosmetic sells it as a single unit.
Beauty products have relatively low fba fees fees which is good. the only issue is with liquids that could be considered hazmat (ie perfume). could still fbm though.
Thank you for all your videos they are really helpful for me … I just started FBA and closing the month at about 800 sales not bad … looking forward to the next month
How can I have a call with you been a entrepreneur watched your videos
I have a question which is the correct listing for the estee lauder example in the video this B0017OLMVE or the one that you show B01GVZQOAM, they seem to be the same with a different title and they both have a different upc code. When doing the reverse google search through sas the same example to buy from that you show is the first hit. This is my problem when sites do not list the upc code when I would scan it when going to list it I am not sure which would be considered the correct product. Am I missing something obvious that makes these different products.
The listing for that product says it includes 2 bottles for $150 but the listing on ecosmetic is only one
How accurate is the "Est. Sales" in SellerAmp?
Hey Miles! Thanks for the video. How long does it actually take you to get your ROI back, when you start with Amazon FBA? I’ve been actively selling for about a month with $1000 sales so far. Thx!
Great content. I love doing sourcing videos with selleramp and keepa.
A lot of the products on frontiercoop only gets the brand approved but not the category. I tend to see a lot of asins are just for the brand and not the category
