I Tried Affiliate Marketing On Facebook For 30 Days: Here’s What I Learned
Affiliate marketing has become a popular way for people to earn money online. With the rise of social media platforms like Facebook, entrepreneurs have found new opportunities to promote products and earn commission through affiliate marketing. Intrigued by the potential income stream, I decided to give it a shot and try affiliate marketing on Facebook for 30 days. Here’s what I learned from this experience.
First and foremost, understanding the basics of affiliate marketing is crucial. Affiliate marketing is a performance-based marketing model where individuals earn a commission by promoting other people’s products or services. The commission is earned whenever someone makes a purchase through your unique affiliate link. With this in mind, I searched for reliable affiliate networks that offered a variety of products to choose from.
Once I joined a reputable affiliate network, I focused on selecting products that I felt were valuable and could genuinely help my Facebook followers. It’s essential to choose products that align with your audience’s interests and needs, as this increases the likelihood of them making a purchase. I carefully reviewed the products, read customer reviews, and considered how they would benefit my followers before deciding to promote them.
Next, I created a dedicated Facebook page to focus solely on affiliate marketing. It’s crucial to have a separate platform since continuously bombarding family and friends with promotional posts may not be well-received. By creating a dedicated page, I could attract an audience specifically interested in the products I was promoting, increasing the chances of conversions.
To attract and engage my Facebook audience, I adopted a strategic approach to posting content. Instead of solely promoting the products, I focused on providing valuable information related to the niche. This approach helped establish myself as an authority in the field and build trust with my followers. I shared informative articles, tips, and personal experiences, occasionally incorporating the affiliate products when relevant.
Another valuable lesson I learned was the significance of tracking and analytics. Most affiliate networks provide tools to measure the performance of your affiliate campaigns. By frequently analyzing these metrics, I could determine which products were resonating with my audience and generating the most conversions. This allowed me to make informed decisions about what to concentrate on and which products to discontinue promoting.
Throughout the 30-day period, I encountered both successes and challenges. One of the most significant challenges was reaching a wider audience on Facebook organically. Due to the algorithm changes, it has become more challenging for businesses and entrepreneurs to reach a broad audience without paid advertisements. While organic reach was limited, promoting select posts through Facebook ads helped in expanding my audience and driving more traffic to my affiliate links.
Ultimately, after 30 days of dedicated effort, I achieved some success with affiliate marketing on Facebook. While the income generated wasn’t significant, it was a promising start. I learned that consistency, providing value to followers, and carefully selecting products were key factors in driving conversions.
In conclusion, trying affiliate marketing on Facebook for 30 days provided valuable insights into the world of online marketing. It requires dedicated effort, consistent content creation, and strategic promotion to succeed. While it may not lead to overnight riches, with time, persistence, and continuous learning, affiliate marketing on Facebook can become a profitable income stream.

Do you have one where you just used 100% ads? Not making videos etc.
I am from India and i am watching your video….❤❤
Damn!
Selling make money from home as an affiliate. No mention whether the product works. Whether it’s good or it sucks. Fact is, you don’t care. I have an idea, why don’t you buy the fucking course, then use the strategies they suggest. Put it on YouTube. Bet you’ll lose your ass. Guarantee it. Shady at best. And it’s taking advantage of people on their last hope. Now if you were an affiliate for a non make money product and actually show the product, review the product, then go make sales, you’d have respect. As it sits, you’re driving people into a workflow relying on HIGH PRESSURE closers to pull every penny out of the prospect they can on the $1400-2k+ Final upsell. I’d love to meet you on the street one day.
Liked your video and you being honest showing things as is.
May I ask what app did you use to create this video with sounds, colored captions,…
Hey, great video Chad! I do affiliate marketing on instagram as well and I get like 10k views on every reel (I post highlight clips of podcasts about money) but absolutely none of this traffic goes through my funnel and gives me their email. Its frustrating to see you instantly get sales but I personally don't even get them into my funnel. Any ideas why my traffic is so cold and just not converting at all?
I was just wondering, when you post, do you post at certain times of day, or do you post whenever?
Was the result from Facebook or Instagram?
What do I search for to get my videos created for me? I'm looking to hire someone as you did to promote a SaaS company I use for all my funnels, but I don't have the time to create that much content. I'm looking to get roughly a month's worth of videos done for me too. Similar fashion, some explainer type, some short form.
Great video, we all know that affiliate marketing is a proven business model. The main thing you need is a good presence on different social media, and if your account is brand new you might have troubles. You need popularity from the start and with Famester the whole process is much faster and easier in my opinion.
How do you get your own link?
How do you get your own link?
I am curious about the builderall course, but wondering if i can get more info? zoom call?
A couple things – 1. this isn't really starting from scratch, because you're using previously created videos that were already bought and paid for, created content. That right there is a major factor in this entire industry. Most people don't know where to go to get the freelancers to create these videos, they have no idea where to even start. I can't honestly feel like this was a valid or legitimate process when right out from the gate you're already cheating and reusing products that are already pre-made. If you're serious about this, start from scratch the way someone else would have to, the way that you DID do at one point with a step by step into every single factor, breaking it down like you're talking to a 5 year old.
Can I use someone video on TikTok and post it on Facebook and instagram
You nailed it, Chad. Much Appreciated.
Chad can you at least show where you got the freelancer, and what you paid that freelancer for the posts so we get an understanding in regards to budget.
Second, who posted the videos to your Facebook, TikTok, & IG Reels…was it you personally, or did you give her access? If so how did you do that?
Third, did you create a script or give her copy that she can use, or was it all her?
Lastly, a step-by-step video on Affiliate marketing would be great, not just this quick run through on it. Sorry!
What a way to inspire beginners like myself.
Teach us with examples. Thanks Chad…

How are you getting thousands of views on a brand new FB account?
Why is this strategy costing you $500 a month?
As an affiliate are you allowed to create ads on IG or FB that send people to your affiliate product?
Shame on you for promoting a garbage product like Legendary Marketer.
Nice one Chad. I will try it
Great stuff Chad! In that first week where you made $128, were you direct linking on Facebook and Instagram to make those commissions or did you start collecting emails from day 1 whereby the $128 commissions were all made after an email was collected?
I have a hard time believing affiliate marketing works.
Is it hard to join this affiliate program that you promoted or they let people in easily?
