Car influencers have become a prominent presence on social media platforms, showcasing the latest car models, modifications, and driving adventures. However, there are some habits exhibited by these influencers that are simply quite stupid and can have negative consequences.
One of the most common stupid habits of car influencers is their tendency to drive recklessly for the sake of getting a thrilling shot or video. This often involves speeding, aggressive maneuvering, and other dangerous driving behaviors that not only put their own lives at risk but also endanger other road users. This kind of behavior sets a bad example for their followers and can lead to serious consequences.
Another stupid habit exhibited by car influencers is their tendency to show off illegal modifications or dangerous driving stunts. This can include showcasing illegal exhaust modifications, engaging in street racing, or performing dangerous maneuvers on public roads. Not only does this kind of behavior promote illegal and dangerous activities, but it also sets a negative example for their audience, many of whom may be young and impressionable.
Some car influencers also have a habit of promoting products or services without proper disclosure or transparency. This can lead to their followers being misled or deceived into purchasing products or services that may not be as effective or safe as portrayed by the influencer. This lack of transparency can erode the trust between the influencer and their audience and can have long-term negative implications for both parties.
Lastly, some car influencers have a habit of glamorizing excessive spending and luxury, showcasing expensive cars and lavish lifestyles without acknowledging the potential financial burden or consequences. This can create unrealistic expectations and aspirations for their followers, leading to poor financial decision-making or dissatisfaction with their own lives.
In conclusion, while car influencers can be entertaining and informative, it’s important to be aware of the stupid habits that some of them exhibit. Reckless driving, illegal activities, lack of transparency, and promoting excessive spending are all behaviors that can have negative consequences and should be avoided. As consumers of online content, it’s important to be critical and discerning of the messages being portrayed by car influencers and to hold them accountable for their actions.

I feel like as time goes on, we're gonna hit the end of the youtube content pendulum of creators, hype and fondness will start swinging back the other way toward humble creators because everyone is so used to spoiled, arrogant, overexcited, brain rot influencers.
Thanks for keeping it real. I’m not a car guy, but your content has been an entertaining peek inside. I appreciate the advice to prospective content creators.
my favorite influencer thing is where they make meme edits and it always says shit like “just a normal car!!1!! Probably slow1!1!1!” and it shows a picture of a fucking bugatti or a dragster or for fucks sake a pagani or some shit
like everyone can tell that it isn’t a “normal” car, like you can tell it’s fast just by looking at it. And then they list engine specs. Nothing really wrong with this, but I just roll my eyes when it says shit like “just a normal mclaren!!! Probably slow!!!”
it would make more sense if it was a commuter car that just wants to rest after being swapped with some crazy ass v8 or something.
Bruh muta has a day job?
The thing that got me is the fat Youtuber saying hes not going to get a job because of his subscriber count boils my blood, thousands of people that have gone through hell and back mentally or physically or sometime both can't hold a job because they are so phsycologically tormented and would dream of being able to hold any job is a dream to them….. just the fact that he feels that all the fortune he has is because he exist turn my stomach so many times….. RANT OVER.
one of the best thing to understand is the difference between being really egotistical, and happy/proud of yourself (you will never be both). most of the time (at least form my own experience) having a BIG ego just isn't worth it. you may be able to push yourself, but the amount of pure disrespect, and entitlement you show towards other people isn't worth it. people with a big ego are some of the loneliest people out there, and its because they treat everyone else like they're worse then them. no one wants to hang around someone like that. having some form of respect for yourself is important don't get me wrong, but just having that self awareness, and the desire to become a better person is super important…. enough of that cringe
I think mostly any car one could make content on
Just need to do something cool with it, or make decent content. Or both.
I'd much rather watch shitbox and tuner videos
"Babe, i just need to invest in a platinum penis pump, a hammer, and a blowtorch and i'll get that OF bag!" But it's an INVESTMENT BABE!!!"
Idk what yo car still is cuhh
the only loans that are investments are home and business loans even then you have to make shore that it a good idea even then pay it back as fast as posable every month you have that loan you lose a lot of money
I've found it almost easier to grow a dorky little Bullnose ig account, especially in comparison to some friends who have waay fancier rigs. I legitimately enjoy building content, and if I never really got another follower I'd be just fine. Sure, I've only got 114 hp, so what? It's different from what most people see, and it somehow works.
Having watched Garbage Time. I think you can actually do pretty well with some nuggets of a car. There's a certain charm to them! That and it's also a lot more relateable as it's something that within most people's reach!
13:30 „He started small“ while having a picture of him and his like 100k lambo in the background
Car guy and car influencer are 2 completely different things.
clicked because of recommendation, stays for life lessons
Everything what you've said in the vid is true, but to be honest if you indeed buy a hypercar, wrap it some unique style and do some little tweaking, you'll have better chances of people finding your accounts (But definitely not guaranteed "fame/followers"), than having slammed, bodykitted camry (absolutely mad car btw) that I found on ig with 130k. But people going into a debt because they want to get followers is a bs move. It's a bs move to go into a debt because of a car. Like you don't have it, don't buy it. But if you have the money, want a nice car and want to start social media, why not buy a better car that will probably get you bigger chances.
But today, the best thing you can do, is to treat the car as a real car enthusiasts, I see many people buying new car every year, like bro, you should be a one with your car, not change it every second. That's what people in the community actually appreciate, show 'em how the turbo blew, show them how y'all repaired it with friends and in the chances bought a bigger one, stuff like this is what we actually love. (That's what I love about Nightride for example)
If you’re influenced by anyone on YouTube…. You need to reflect on your life choices … YouTubers are just regular people who most likely don’t know anything about cars past what they search on google…. What’s hilarious… is you the viewer have the same information at your fingertips … stop being lazy and actually turn a wrench
fight me the new cadillacs are now american muscle luxury
I haven’t looked at this channel in years and I’m relieved he’s making the same content
I hate to mention him but this is exactly what happened to Haugen Racing. A dude who was just having fun making reaction videos and then he started overspending to death.
I watched your video for first time during 2017 when I wanted to find car type that suits my need and preferences, since my dad back then considered to sold his pickup truck. I got hatchback for over 5 years now thanks to you and since then I hooked up with your videos.
Man, I gotta say I look forward to seeing your videos on my lunch or after a day at work! Keep
It up!
For those who ask What kind of Setup will make get him followers, i suggest the Clown costume. You've already proven to me and everyone that you just want the easiest path to get famous so why don't you ridicule yourself already? People love laughing at idiots, it's your chance, don't be shy.
I own a civic, but I thank God every day for it. Very grateful, because it can all be gone in a second.
Driving instructions get famous making car content on a Suzuki Swift.. so the person matters.
for advice #1: the simplest way ive heard it explained is that, no matter the field, each and every tool you buy should have a purpose, a spot on the shelf the fill, a nail that needs hammering. if you dont have a reason for getting a tool beyond "*insert influencer here* has one, so that means i definitely need one" then you dont need that tool.
now, thats not to say you shouldnt get cool things if you want them, thats the number two reason for making money, but, if it isnt necessary for putting food on your table, then it should take a back seat until youre at a point where you can afford to burn that money without any notable benefit
Here's a fifth stupid car influencer habit: buying a 'boomer' car and saying they're living their mid-life crisis multiple years early.
Hell no. Middle aged guys don't buy sports cars because they're having a "mid-life crisis," it's because they can finally afford the car they want.
7 years is a long time I believe you never lost yourself as far as with the ego and yes we all can get lost in that myself included
This video made me realize just for how long i've been watching you. I can't put an exact date or anything but i can very clearly remember reading your community post on how callie got wrecked back when i was in middle school. I'm not a native speaker and back when i first started watching these kinds of car videos i couldn't speak english that well either, i frequently googled the words you were saying to understand you. I still don't have a license since you can't get one until you are 18 where i live and i still have 5 months until then but your videos made me grow as (still) a fledgling enthusiast, thank you for that. Writing this makes me reminisce of all the phases i've gone through (some of them very cringey lol) so i guess i shall stop and get back to studying as nowadays i'm more of a ferrari guy.
You must buy latest newest car. And then you will be famous. But you must buy lates. Today came out BMW. ? You need to buy it. Tomorrow will go out new lambo ? You must buy it. Next week new R8 ? Guess what……
