Attention YouTubers: A Guide to Becoming an Amazon Influencer

How To Become An Amazon Influencer | YouTubers PAY ATTENTION!

In the world of social media marketing, influencers have become a powerful force. These individuals have built large followings and have the ability to sway the opinions and purchasing decisions of their audience. One platform that has seen a rise in influencers is Amazon, which has its own influencer program that allows individuals to earn money by promoting products on the site. For YouTubers looking to expand their influence and monetize their content, becoming an Amazon influencer can be a lucrative opportunity. Here’s how to become an Amazon influencer and start earning from your influence.

Firstly, you need to have an existing following on a social media platform. Amazon looks for influencers with a large and engaged audience, so if you already have a strong presence on YouTube, Instagram, Twitter or Facebook, you’re already off to a good start. Amazon wants influencers who can effectively promote products and drive traffic to the site, so having a dedicated and active following is key.

Next, you’ll need to apply to join the Amazon Influencer Program. The application process is relatively straightforward and can be done through the Amazon website. You’ll need to submit your social media profiles and provide information about your audience and the type of content you create. Amazon will then review your application and if accepted, you’ll receive a unique URL that links to a page showcasing the products you recommend.

Once you’ve been accepted into the program, it’s important to select the products you want to promote thoughtfully. Choose products that are relevant to your audience and align with your content. Authenticity is crucial in influencer marketing, so promoting products that you genuinely believe in will resonate more with your followers. Additionally, Amazon provides tools to help you effectively promote products, such as storefronts, widgets, and banners.

As an Amazon influencer, you’ll earn a commission on the products you sell through your unique URL. The more you promote and the more sales you drive, the more you can earn. So, it’s essential to create high-quality content that encourages your followers to check out the products you recommend. Some influencers also use affiliate marketing and create dedicated videos or posts showcasing their favorite Amazon products, which can be an effective way to increase sales and earn more commission.

In conclusion, becoming an Amazon influencer can be a great way for YouTubers to monetize their influence and generate income from their content. With a strong following and engaging content, you can leverage the Amazon Influencer Program to earn money by promoting products and driving sales. It’s important to be authentic and thoughtful in your promotions, as this will help build trust with your audience and lead to more successful sales. So, if you’re a YouTuber looking to expand your influence and earn money from your content, the Amazon Influencer Program is definitely worth considering.

I think everyone is accepted immediately if they have any kind of social icon attached to them, mine was FB.

I was in minutes after applying through a congratulation email letter.
I am quite sure that it was an automated process.

The BIG wait is getting vetted for the 3 videos which is the biggest hurdle.
    This is on Feb. 7 th/ '23.

I got accepted to the program and my 3 videos were also accepted. It usually takes 10-12 hours for my videos to appear on the storefront. But lately I've been uploading videos and they haven't been posted and it's been 4 days. Will I get a notification if my video is denied or does it normally take days to get these videos accepted?

I got accepted into the program, but now I am waiting for them to review my first 3 videos. It says it takes 2 days but it has been closer to 5-6 days. Is this normal?

Have you seen anyone not get approved on their 3 video inspection, like they weren't good enough?

If this happens, is there a second chance?

I have a few questions though. What if youtube magically out of nowhere decides to terminate your account or Facebook and Instagram go bye-bye. I think it would be in amazon's best interest to have sort of like their own youtube model for their site selling strictly just products. You can build a giant influencer following on amazon if this happens. Since Youtube is slowly going to push out the independent creators eventually. They are becoming more like a Tv cable network company. Which would in turn make a small creator's videos hard to find when they eventually become this. It will become very hard to become a great influencer if youtube won't show your videos in the first. Seriously, they should create their own youtube like platform with product review channels in mind. Any channel currently on youtube big and small can make product reviews of anything they use to say for example create their entertainment videos. How-to channels are definitely going to be highly paid with this program. I am going to contact amazon and give them this idea to possibly consider. Creator fundamentals, what do you think of this whole proposal? It only makes sense right? It's a no – brainer. Dan, get back to me on this whole idea and tell me what you think. Sounds pretty interesting right? Thank you Dan for reading my comment. Look forward to hearing your reply back. Take care.

I am wondering what is the difference between an influencer uploading a video review and just anybody uploading a video?
