Amazon FBA For Beginners (Step by Step Tutorial)

Amazon FBA, which stands for Fulfillment By Amazon, is a service provided by the e-commerce giant that allows sellers to store their products in Amazon’s fulfillment centers, and Amazon takes care of packing, shipping, and customer service. This can be a lucrative business opportunity for individuals looking to start their own online store without the hassle of managing inventory and logistics. In this article, we will provide a step-by-step tutorial for beginners looking to get started with Amazon FBA.

Step 1: Create an Amazon Seller Account

The first step in getting started with Amazon FBA is to create an Amazon Seller account. You can choose between an Individual Seller account, which is ideal for individuals looking to sell fewer than 40 items per month, or a Professional Seller account, which is best for individuals looking to sell more than 40 items per month. You will need to provide some basic information about your business and payment details to set up your account.

Step 2: Source Products to Sell

Once you have set up your Amazon Seller account, the next step is to source products to sell on Amazon. You can either create your own products or source products from suppliers and manufacturers. It is important to do thorough research on the products you plan to sell to ensure there is demand for them on Amazon and that you can make a profit.

Step 3: Prepare Your Products for Shipment

After sourcing your products, you will need to prepare them for shipment to Amazon’s fulfillment centers. This includes labeling and packaging your products according to Amazon’s guidelines, which can be found in Seller Central. You can either do this yourself or hire a third-party fulfillment service to help with this process.

Step 4: Create Your Amazon FBA Shipment

This involves selecting the products you want to send to Amazon, printing shipping labels, and scheduling a pickup with a carrier. Amazon will provide you with instructions on how to do this step by step.

Step 5: Monitor Your Inventory and Sales

Once your products have been shipped to Amazon’s fulfillment centers, you can monitor your inventory and sales through Seller Central. Amazon will handle all aspects of customer service, including order fulfillment and returns, so you can focus on growing your business and expanding your product line.

It’s not about finding the right product, it’s about creating the winner product. I also struggled to find a good course and had to talk to several “gurus”. I found one great community to learn Amazon FBA without the bullsh*t and it’s been one of the best decision of my life. I’m about to launch my first private label brand after 6 months joining. It accelerated my learning curve for sure

I am going through to watch videos and start this amazon business from two years ago and not doing it but I decided to seriously do it this time. I saw one comment that says don’t do it because losing money and being broken.
Can you please explain that why that person recommended not to do it.
And second question is what’s the lowest budget that we can start on this business?
Third question is about ad fees in the negative comment.
