Caution! Important Notice for ALL Amazon FBA Sellers

Warning!! My Message to ALL Amazon FBA Sellers

In recent years, Amazon’s Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) program has gained massive popularity among sellers. With its promise of hassle-free logistics and access to millions of potential customers, it’s no wonder that Amazon FBA has become the go-to choice for numerous online businesses. However, there are certain aspects that all FBA sellers need to be aware of in order to protect their interests and avoid potential pitfalls.

First and foremost, one crucial point to emphasize is the importance of understanding Amazon’s policies and guidelines. Amazon has a strict set of rules that sellers must adhere to in order to maintain a successful FBA business. Failure to comply with these guidelines can result in suspension, loss of account privileges, or even legal action. From prohibited products to restricted categories, it is imperative that FBA sellers thoroughly research and familiarize themselves with Amazon’s policies to stay in good standing.

Another significant challenge that FBA sellers often face is the issue of counterfeit products. Amazon has been plagued with counterfeit goods infiltrating its marketplace, damaging both buyer trust and brand reputation. As an FBA seller, it is vital to ensure the authenticity of the products being sold. Implementing strict quality control measures, working closely with verified suppliers, and regularly monitoring product listings are essential steps to combat the counterfeit problem.

In addition to counterfeit concerns, FBA sellers must also be cautious about intellectual property rights. It is crucial to respect and uphold the intellectual property rights of others while avoiding patent or copyright infringement. One way to protect against potential infringement claims is to conduct a thorough search for existing patents, trademarks, or copyrights before launching a new product. Engaging legal counsel to navigate these complexities can also be beneficial in safeguarding against any legal consequences.

Furthermore, FBA sellers should be vigilant about their product reviews and ratings. Reviews play a significant role in buyers’ decision-making process, and negative feedback can greatly impact sales. While it is essential to provide excellent customer service and a quality product, unfortunately, not all reviews are genuine or fair. Competitors or malicious buyers can leave unjustified negative feedback, which can be detrimental to an FBA seller’s reputation. FBA sellers should actively monitor their product listings, promptly address customer complaints, and proactively seek genuine customer feedback to counteract any unwarranted negative reviews.

Lastly, FBA sellers need to be prepared for potential challenges associated with inventory management. As products are stored, picked, packed, and shipped by Amazon, it is essential for sellers to stay proactive and vigilant in monitoring their inventory levels. Stockouts can lead to missed sales opportunities, while overstocking ties up financial resources. Regularly reviewing inventory reports and forecasting demand accurately are crucial to maintaining a healthy supply chain and optimizing sales.

In conclusion, the Amazon FBA program offers immense opportunities for online sellers. However, it is essential to keep in mind the potential risks and challenges that may arise along the way. Familiarizing oneself with Amazon’s policies and guidelines, ensuring product authenticity, protecting intellectual property rights, managing reviews effectively, and staying on top of inventory management are all vital considerations for FBA sellers. By arming themselves with knowledge and proactively addressing these aspects, FBA sellers can navigate the Amazon marketplace successfully, ensuring long-term success and growth for their businesses.

I just started , what makes me worried the most is that 90% of the fba sellers with brand registry are actually in China so they eat most of the profit from us American sellers and they became very good at it , very good price , a+ page , ads etc etc they do it all and well

Quick question (serious issue) has anyone else had a problem with ppc billing period not coming out? For some reason mine hasnt come out for over a month, even though it comes out usually 2 weeks. There is Nothing on my seller central to say there is a problem and my bank account has enough to allow the transaction. Does anyone else have this?

This is the video I needed to watch. It's like you peeked into my brain, and addressed all the worries I've been having. Weeks ago I was ready to commit to selling on Amazon FBA, but I watched SO many videos, and read so many tutorials that I had information overload and ended up wanting to quit, without even starting. Thank you for telling it like it is!

I recently start FBA because my profession allows me to take advantage of a niche type of product. I know the sales are there and done my research via Helium 10, but I cannot figure out how to win the buy box more often. I have very little competition and have made some sales, but want to know what I can do to optimize?

I started last year in July. I had to really grind to get through all the giant hurdles and push through. Don’t think that this is just an Amazon business either, you can sell on any platform and fulfill via FBA. I generated most of my profits for Etsy actually. I watched Trevins videos on how to prepare for the holiday season at least 10 times and did everything I could to get enough inventory. That month I did $100k in Sales (5 months in). None of this was easy and I avoided disaster multiple times but I did it. If you jump into to this thinking it’s quick and easy money you will be humbled QUICK. The business is SIMPLE not EASY. You are going to have to want this more than anything else.. If you just “Kind of” want it or think “that would be nice” DON’T DO IT. You need to be obsessed to achieve success!

I just tried, did the scan found items that I thought would make profit then put them in and go to seller account and almost all of them are now losses due to fba fee from Amazon. One item I bought for 5 and Amazon sold for 17 but then fees jumped to 14 per product when get to seller account to ship them.

Hi Trevin, Great video. As an Amazon seller that just bought a course I have some questions. I'm from Belgium and bought a course from someone who speaks the same language as I do. What is a healthy budget to start? I have like 2k to 3k to invest in stock or so. I know there are also other investments to make but what would be healthy budget to start? Would love to hear from you.

OK so I'm starting with only a few thousand dollars so yes the video scared me. I'm wondering if I should lower the price range when searching for products on helium ten so I can have enough left over to pay for ppc and possibly partial to replenish inventory….I'm going to email the team!

Ok Trevin. I've been following you for years on multiple platforms, but could never pull the trigger. Not sure why this happened today, but this video hit me like a ton of bricks. I left a toxic corporate job just before the pandemic due to burnout and used the years off since then to heal my mind. body and soul. I've been living very frugally off of savings and have a little more than a year's worth of funds left. I would be more than happy to speak with you to find out if I'm in the right situation or a good candidate to handle FBA. Looking forward to your guidance, thanks.
