In the world of e-commerce and online marketplaces, finding reliable wholesale suppliers is crucial for the success of your business. For Amazon FBA sellers, having a strong network of wholesale suppliers can make all the difference in terms of product selection, pricing, and inventory management. In this article, we’ll discuss the best way to find wholesale suppliers for Amazon FBA in 2023.
1. Utilize Online Directories and Marketplaces: One of the most effective ways to find wholesale suppliers is to use online directories and marketplaces. Websites like Alibaba, AliExpress, and Global Sources are great places to start your search. These platforms allow you to connect with thousands of suppliers from around the world, offering a wide range of products at competitive prices. You can also use Amazon’s own wholesale portal to discover new suppliers and products that align with your business goals.
2. Attend Trade Shows and Events: Another great way to find wholesale suppliers is to attend trade shows and industry events. These gatherings provide a unique opportunity to meet face-to-face with potential suppliers and evaluate their products and services. Networking at trade shows can also lead to long-term partnerships and special deals that may not be available online.
3. Leverage Social Media and Online Communities: Social media and online communities can be valuable resources for finding wholesale suppliers. Joining groups and forums related to Amazon FBA or e-commerce can connect you with experienced sellers who can recommend reliable suppliers. Using platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, and Reddit can also help you identify potential suppliers and stay updated on industry trends.
4. Reach Out to Manufacturers Directly: If you have a specific product in mind, consider reaching out to manufacturers directly. Many manufacturers are willing to work with Amazon FBA sellers to meet their wholesale needs. By contacting manufacturers directly, you can establish a direct line of communication and negotiate better pricing terms.
5. Conduct Thorough Due Diligence: Once you’ve identified potential wholesale suppliers, it’s important to conduct thorough due diligence before making any commitments. This includes verifying the supplier’s credentials, inspecting product samples, and understanding their delivery and payment terms. It’s also important to request references and testimonials from other sellers who have worked with the supplier.
In conclusion, finding wholesale suppliers for Amazon FBA in 2023 requires a multi-faceted approach that leverages online resources, industry events, and networking opportunities. By utilizing online directories, attending trade shows, leveraging social media, reaching out to manufacturers, and conducting due diligence, you can build a strong network of reliable suppliers and set your Amazon FBA business up for long-term success.

What should I ask and talk about on the call?
I have a few questions…Do the distributors take care of shipping to the Amazon warehouse? If not, is it relatively expensive?
Can you help us sellers from EU who want to sell fba in USA? My main problem is that wholesellers i find are all scams or cant provide authentication letter.
Also llc/sales permit is also a big issue for us .. hope you can point in some correct direction
Can you find me few in California please? 🙂
Thanks for the video. I have one question: do these distributors give you the invoice for amazon's "apply to sell"? or how does it work? Regards.
I've reached out to some wholesalers and was informed that they do not allow Amazon resellers. Is there a workaround this?
Nice man! You should make a video on what talking to these wholesalers should sound like or just tips so we don’t sound like amateurs you know?
Should we worry about if thry sre authorized distributors or not? New york cosmetics seems like a legit company but they say they are not authorized and dont take responsibility. How can we find out amazon verify their invoice or not. Or should we worry about it at all?
do you need to obtain resellers permit before contacting these distributors?
How do you learn what’s gated on Amazon and how do you get the buy box?
Good man
most of the time I see these videos and they say the same places. Alibaba, eBay, buying return lots, etc. Love that this one actually gives good advice to find name brand stuff!
I noticed that you briefly mentioned that it is a good sign when a supplier doesn't have the prices on their website. What's the train of thought behind this – are wholesalers that list their prices so easily usually full of crap products?
Thanks for the content.
Hey ! Great video! Straight to the point and clear. I've been watching a bunch of videos on amazon wholesale. But all I come across is people who make these videos saying "call the distributors, build a relationship", but for the newbies, we don't know what to say. What should we say exactly when we are on the phone to convince them to give us a wholesale account. Especially when calling brands directly.
Great content man! That’s a great strategy to add the geographic location in the search terms. It can diversify who you find in comparison to when you do not add the Geographic location.
Thank you
Do you tell them what you plan to do with the product? Are they ever turned off by Amazon sellers?
Thank you for the video
