Do Influencer’s Instagram Outfits ACTUALLY Look Good in Real Life? Part 4
In the age of social media, influencers have become a significant force in shaping fashion trends and styles. Instagram, in particular, has become a platform where influencers showcase their carefully curated outfits to their thousands or even millions of followers. These outfits often look perfectly styled and put together on the gram, but the real question is: do they actually look good in real life?
In the fourth installment of our series, we continue to explore whether the outfits flaunted by influencers on Instagram live up to the hype when seen in real life. It’s no secret that social media has a way of distorting reality, and what may look appealing on a perfectly posed and edited photo might not translate the same way in real life.
One common trend seen on Instagram is the oversized blazer paired with biker shorts or mini skirts. This trend has been popularized by many influencers and celebrities, and it looks undeniably chic on their perfectly framed and edited photos. However, when tried by the general public, the reality may not always measure up to the expectations. The proportions of the oversized blazer and the shorter bottom can sometimes appear unflattering, and the outfit can come off as unbalanced and awkward in real life.
Another popular Instagram look is the casual, yet put-together ensemble consisting of a basic top paired with high-waisted jeans and statement accessories. While this look is easy to replicate and appeals to many, the reality of pulling it off successfully can be tricky. The fit and quality of the jeans, as well as the proportions of the outfit, can significantly impact how it looks in real life. What may seem effortless on an influencer’s Instagram may not necessarily translate the same way for the average person.
However, it’s worth noting that not all influencer outfits fall short in real life. Many influencers have a keen eye for styling and creativity, and their fashion sense does shine through in real-life settings. Some Instagram outfits do translate well into everyday wear and look just as stylish and put-together in real life as they do on social media.
In conclusion, the verdict on whether influencer outfits look good in real life is a mixed bag. While some trends may not necessarily translate well outside of the carefully curated Instagram photo, there are plenty of influencers who genuinely have an eye for style and can inspire and pull off looks that work in both the digital and physical realms.
In the end, fashion is subjective, and personal style is what truly matters. Whether an influencer’s outfit looks good in real life or not is ultimately up to the individual wearing it and their own confidence in pulling it off. Social media can provide inspiration, but it’s important to remember that what looks good on someone else may not necessarily work for everyone.

Omg i been waiting for one of these i cant believe i wasnt notified. Ahhhh im glad i thought to look! These are some of my very favorite videos.
I love that first outfit actually
in the next video do outfits that you will like for real
You guys are such a great vibe together
Goodness, most of these look like you slept over your boyfriend's and took his clothing to wear the next day and called it fashion. My eyes aren't burning from the boxers look, but it isn't exciting me either… Love the waistcoat look, and the satin faux "lingerie" dress. The dress reminds me of the early 2000s, when we wanted to flash a bra, and I would wear it… with another bra. The blue dress is so pretty! It actually looks like a body suit! I would 100% wear this with jeans, or wrap over a skirt or shorts! heck, use this instead of your boy friend tshirt, and the lace skirt would look pretty too!
i love these videos!!! you and your friends just vibe sooooo well!
The third one is a no in general In any context
The second pair of boxers worked so well with that outfit!
I don’t really like them bashing the looks. It would be so much better if you just tried by yourself
Great video. Love the 2nd 1
Omg, when they talked about the ripped skinny jeans on guys, I've felt it to my core 😀 ICK.
The best lesson I've learned that all thse influencer outfits are made for the beach/ set and not to real life 😀
I'm confused. I'm VERY confused. Is the last dress meant to be wrapped differently so it forms a proper skirt instead of draping like a ribbon?
I do not want there opinion on anything sis liked the BAGGY ass t shirt with a lace skirt…. like wtf is she on get rid of them
10:50 I swear looks like a walk of shame outfit!
I love this series!
The final blue leotard with black sailor style pants/jeans would work I think
11:03 If people don’t move to the side to let me walk by on the footpath, I started shoulder checking them HARD. “move, b*tch, get out da way!”
The first outfit and outfit 6 would look great if the body is more slim and pear shaped< the most important is the quality of the clothes but in this video the clothes not high quality
am i crazy i loved the jorts and last dress on her sm
LOVE this series!! Can't get enough, more, more! Entertaining, humorous, light hearted and fun, glad I'm not the only one that these outfits don't 'translate' on ♥️♥️♥️

I think the first one looks good and realistic on both of you, it's just two different body types
I absolutely love these videos!!
can't express how much i love this series, please never stop hahaha
also the blue set at the end, that colour is STUNNING ON YOU, i reckon instead of the wrap you could wear jeans and it would slay, that is if you want to keep the piece
