Earn ,751 Per Month by Publishing Audiobooks on Audible: A Step-by-Step Guide

Audiobooks have become a popular option for busy individuals who want to enjoy books on the go. With the rise of platforms like Audible, which is owned by Amazon, there has never been a better time to get into the audiobook publishing business. In fact, many authors and entrepreneurs are making a substantial income by publishing their works on Audible, with some earning as much as $16,751 per month.

So, if you’re an author or someone who has always wanted to dip their toes into the publishing world, here’s a guide on how you can make money by publishing audiobooks on Audible.

1. Create quality content: The first step in publishing audiobooks on Audible is to create high-quality content. Whether you are repurposing an existing book or creating new content specifically for the audiobook format, it’s important to ensure that the material is engaging and well-written.

2. Narration: Once you have your content ready, the next step is to find a narrator to bring your words to life. While some authors choose to narrate their own books, hiring a professional narrator is often the preferred route as it can result in a higher quality finished product.

3. Production: After the narration is complete, the next step is to have the audiobook professionally produced. This includes editing the audio files, adding sound effects or music, and ensuring that the final product meets Audible’s quality standards.

4. Publishing on Audible: Once your audiobook is ready, the next step is to publish it on Audible. You can do this through ACX, which is Amazon’s platform for audiobook creation and distribution. ACX allows you to upload your audiobook files, set the price, and choose the distribution channels.

5. Marketing: After your audiobook is live on Audible, it’s essential to promote it to reach potential listeners. This can include marketing on social media, email newsletters, and reaching out to influencers for reviews and promotions.

6. Earn royalties: Audible pays authors and publishers based on the number of copies sold. The royalty rates vary depending on the pricing tier you select, but it’s possible to earn up to 40% of the sales revenue. Additionally, Audible offers a bounty program, which pays a $50 bonus for every new member who signs up and purchases your audiobook as their first title.

By following these steps and consistently publishing quality audiobooks, it’s entirely possible to generate a significant income from Audible. Many authors and publishers have leveraged the platform to sustain and even grow their businesses, proving that there is a lucrative opportunity in the audiobook industry. So, if you have a passion for storytelling and want to capitalize on the growing demand for audiobooks, consider making money by publishing your works on Audible.

@SeanDollwet I have a unique situation and a friend of mine who passed away years ago he wrote a book published and was ripped off by the publishing company at that time even police reports the book didnt do as well as it might have I guess because of only so many books he could afford to make with the publishing company . at the time his book was read by some legit persons from east coast to west coast Canada and said this book should be a novel in the jr high schools to high schools , and now passed and left the part 2 manuscript to me , I mean not legally but gave me it before he passed , I have his ashes and he's on my mantle and I have his 1st book that mentions my grandmother who funded his 1st book and not sure how to republish or get his books out , when I asked a few local book stores even lawyers they said they had no idea and that you would prolly have to pay all kinds of cash to just get the rights to his books and a huge bunch of issues , he and my grandmother wanted me to just get the book out and sure profit if it was interesting enough to the readers , curious if you think I can get these books on on any platform , the book is offered on amazon for 45 bucks or so atm and limited copies of course and tbh amazon should not have the rights imo to even sell his book but thats just imo like why should they have that right and I don't he was my friend and family and it wasn't amazon that published his book the company was Tree House something like that I can look publishing in BC Canada and they ripped him off and ended up folding no longer around , I apologize for my writing and all that but I think you can get my concerns or message , he was my friend like a grandfather and he wanted me to pursue his dream as a writer and tell his story real life story and a real genuine great guy I miss him and my granny I kinda feel I owe them this in a way but idk I just would like people to give his story a chance it's cool man he was areal deal interesting person and his adventures , any input would be great Thanks for the time and uploads

ok. so. you come up with a basic idea from top selling books. get AI to write an outline and general content. Then, pay someone $3 per 100 words. The average novel is 80,000 words. The average kids is much less, 1,500. So spend about $60-$3,000 for a ghost writer.

It's nice to know people like you, like me, don't just post things to get others to buy your knowledge or merchandise. Modest, humble, and giving to others will continue to return riches to you. Thank you. This is what i was searching for! I now make enough money to provide for my family and give back to the less fortunate.

I don’t want to sound like you haven’t had great success creating and selling a company. But how can you sell something for 820,000$ and say you are a millionaire? After capital gains tax you would barely have half a mill.

I went to ACX, and their interface was NOTHING like what you show in this video. Very hard to use. They could not find my e-book on Amazon. There was no wizard that I could find to walk through the steps, and there was no "Add Your Title" link at the top right of the interface. I never found it, in fact.
