I’m a bookkeeper and accountant with 25 years of experience. I don’t LOVE QuickBooks online, but that’s because my employees that use the online version pay for the cheapest version. You can’t batch enter deposits or checking/credit card transactions, and the version they have doesn’t even recall the previous account classification for the vendor. For example, if Lowe’s is a material expense (COGS), I have to enter Lowe’s and then choose the expense categorization over and over again. It’s so slow and inefficient.
