30 Days in Europe as a Digital Nomad
Europe, a continent steeped in history, culture, and breathtaking landscapes, is a dream destination for many. But what if you could spend an entire month exploring different European cities while still maintaining your work and income? Enter the world of being a digital nomad.
The term “digital nomad” refers to individuals who work remotely and have the freedom to travel and work from anywhere they choose. With the rise of technology and the internet, this lifestyle has become increasingly popular, allowing people to combine work and travel seamlessly.
So, imagine spending an entire month in Europe, hopping from city to city, immersing yourself in new cultures, while still diligently meeting work deadlines and earning money. It may sound too good to be true, but many digital nomads have successfully made this happen.
One of the greatest advantages of being a digital nomad in Europe is the sheer diversity of countries and cities to choose from. You can start your journey in the romantic streets of Paris, where you can work from charming cafés, visit world-class museums during your breaks, and indulge in delicate pastries. From there, you can head to Barcelona, the vibrant Spanish city known for its stunning architecture, sandy beaches, and bustling nightlife. The possibilities are endless.
Additionally, Europe offers excellent infrastructure and connectivity, making it easier to work remotely. High-speed internet is widely available in most cities, and coworking spaces have sprouted up across the continent, providing digital nomads with conducive work environments and opportunities to network with like-minded individuals.
One of the challenges of being a digital nomad in Europe is managing time zones. Depending on where your clients or colleagues are based, you may need to adjust your working hours accordingly. However, with proper planning and communication, this obstacle can be overcome, ensuring that work and travel complement each other rather than clash.
Another key consideration for digital nomads in Europe is budgeting. While traveling can be expensive, especially in popular tourist destinations, it’s possible to find affordable accommodation and living expenses if you do thorough research and tap into local knowledge. Moreover, many cities in Europe offer a good quality of life at a reasonable cost, making them attractive for digital nomads.
Beyond work, being a digital nomad in Europe allows you to immerse yourself in different cultures, experience new cuisines, and marvel at architectural wonders. The weekends can be dedicated to exploring nearby towns or embarking on day trips to nearby attractions. Whether it’s hiking in the Swiss Alps, wine tasting in Tuscany, or soaking up the history in Athens, Europe offers a limitless array of experiences.
Of course, being a digital nomad also comes with certain responsibilities. It’s crucial to maintain a disciplined work routine, balance work and leisure time, and prioritize self-care. It’s easy to get caught up in the excitement of exploring new places, but it’s important not to neglect your work commitments.
In conclusion, spending 30 days in Europe as a digital nomad can be an incredibly rewarding experience. It allows you to combine work and travel, explore diverse cultures, and create unforgettable memories. With careful planning, budgeting, and time management, you can make the most of your month in Europe and truly live the digital nomad dream.

I couldn't agree more on your assessment of North American work culture. Businesses typically view time off as something to be earned through years of "service" instead of something needed for mental and emotional renewal (what it should be). In other words, vacation is seen as a reward for hard work instead of a resource that helps us live balanced, healthy lives (lives which should include hard, rewarding work)
Love your page Stephen and your level headedness.
I'm loving your use of Satie's music!
I'm from Belguim its so crazy how expensive it is to pay the electricity bill in comparison to living as a digital nomad since i get easily bored in one place i really would love to be living as digital nomad atm i think its so much fun that staying in one place, i hope this year that i don't have to depend on anyone and that i finally become victorious and be minimalistic and living in my highest potential through my 3 streams of income. Thanks so much for the video's they are really eye openers keep up the good work!
I realized that the secret to making a million is saving for a better investment. I always tell myself you don't need that new Maserati or that vacation just yet. That mindset helped me make more money investing. For example last year I invested 80k in stocks (with the help of my Financial Advisor of course) and made about 246k, but guess what? I put it all back and traded with her again and now I'm rounding up close to a million.

Did you just stay on the top of the mountain overnight in a sleeping bag? How did you get it all to yourself?
Unrelenting busyness is a bizarre virtue in our culture. Once my kids were grown, I just couldn't live like that until I die. I travel on a bicycle now roughly five to six months out of the year finding as much work as I can to sustain myself. I gave up having an address in 2019. It's just a box full of stuff.
