It’s is definitely a tactic, if you go to high they eliminate you, if you go to low they are gonna go with your pay or like a dollar or two more. Realistically for positions they have it placed about 5-15 percent lower than the amount they can afford to pay. They do it so if you negotiate a higher pay they already have it budgeted. Next question should be the rate for promotions and raises. If I am not expected to get a raise then I want close to the top your willing to pay for the position.

It is standard procedure to ask a prospective worker/employee what their income expectations are for the position applied for. As she does tell us where to locate similar jobs online to use a reference when being asked this question.

Personally, I think it is a tactic employers use during an interview to see where a person stands, regarding the work flow and competency of the role to fill. Also, it shows that you own your value and that will only bring a an even better impression.

…..not to mention this is free advice. So, I'm a way, we are earning just by watching her videos..
hmm, would not a true scam involve somebody "scamming" money from people?

I heard not long ago that its mandatory now for companies to say upfront how much are they paying for jobs/positions. Which to me thats would be the transparent way to do biz. That trick they do of asking you how much u wanna make is nothing short of scamming people.
