I thought TT was supposed to boost the first few posts? I've posted multiple videos in the past few days with zero views, I used capcut to edit so no sound copyright issues, and my videos aren't showing up under the hashtags I used. Any advice? ⁉️

Hey, I just tried applying and I immediately didn’t get approved. I tried signing up with my YouTube channel then I did my Instagram to see if the approval would change and it didn’t. Is this supposed to happen? Are we supposed to immediately get an approved in parentheses the qualifications says they look at followers subscribers and engagement, so are you sore that followers and subscribers don’t play a role in acceptance in the program? I was surprised when I got this message because people said your follower count doesn’t matter and the fact that my channel is based around product reviews and I’m boxings. I thought it would’ve been an easy acceptance.

I’m currently wanting to get approved for Amazon influencer, your videos so far have the most amazing advice and how to’s..

Onto my main question bc I’m beyond stuck..

I don’t have a following which I know I need some sort of following. I know I have to make a business page and have followers.. can I make review videos of items I have purchased and post them to my Facebook or tik tok page? And then if and when I do get approved upload those videos to Amazon Influencer? And do I put a link to the product even though I don’t have an affiliate link as I’m not approved yet?

I been approved by Amazon and I already have contents on items, also made step by step guidance for audience to try it out. So the contents are not only reviews. I have youtube channel so am I allowed to put videos on YouTube ads and Google ads? Another question is my Amazon shop is canada and they don't have video tab to upload to be review. They something new called creators? Not sure what that is and how to use it?

I cannot get my first step approved. The bot shuts me down each time. I have 1573 followers with 6147 likes on my TT account, it is a year old. I am at a complete loss. 🙁

Hi Dom, thanks for the great info!

You mentioned that YOU need to create the content.

Recently, I discovered a big influencer store on Amazon. When I checked their videos, I see that there are at least 20 different people in the videos. I know that they do earn on-site commissions and a pretty good revenue. They are active for so long time with over 10 thousand videos. What do you think about this?

I've been on YouTube for 13 years doing outdoor/EDC gear reviews and on Instagram for about half that time, been an Amazon affiliate for roughly 5 years and have made pretty good money. Was recently asked by Amazon (in an email) to become an Amazon Influencer. I took three videos and edited them down from their longer form and uploaded them, the videos got published but then soon after I was denied. Message said to delete those videos and upload three more. Made three completely new videos, they are all currently "published" and even have some views but I still have the blue lock… so I wait. Someone I know personally uploaded the three most crappy videos I've ever seen was accepted within a week and has been doing very well since. I'm beginning to think much better quality videos with thumbnails is not what Amazon is looking for. I have about 50 other videos I've made while I wait for the blue lock to be lifted. If I get denied again I'm going to make three new videos in the same crappy quality I see with so many others and we'll see what happens. If not, I'll stick with what I have been doing on YT and Insta. On another note: I am contacted daily by brands to make product reviews for their product and post on YouTube, never for a video just for Amazon. Not exactly sure why/how but since I've applied for the Amazon Influencer program I have been contacted four times by sellers on Amazon wanting to send me products to make a short review for their Amazon product listing… two of the four offering money which I don't usually accept on my YouTube videos. We'll see what happens.

Is it true you can build the TikTok account using other people’s videos on TikTok about things you are interested in? Or does it have to be videos you create?

Just curious if the TikTok account has to have the person's actual name, or can it be the business name, then show your face on the videos in order to qualify?

I already have Amazon account for KDP and Merch…Is it possible to get back into Amazon Influencer with onsite videos after I've already got denied with that account? A new account would have the same tax info…? Thanks
