This will be very random for a backpack video but I'm very curious as to the t-shirt you're wearing (it looks awesome) ?

I purchased this bag in February 2023 for the start of my digital nomad journey (2 months in Croatia, currently in Budapest, leaving for Turkey on June 1st) and I'm super pleased with it. I have this and the Nomatic carry-on classic, which have been a great combination together. In total, I have 5 pairs of shoes and 7/8 days worth of clothes, my 16-inch MacBook Pro (which does fit in the travel bag), an iPad, and all the miscellaneous tech gear / travel items.

The bag itself is excellent, but it's certainly not an every day bag. It's perfect for travel/transportation, but that's it. Highly recommend packing cubes for this bag (tetris style). The features are super functional and the side compartment really helps with organization. Part of me regrets not buying the 20L+ Travel Pack or the classic Backpack, but it's really hard to complain about this bag. It's more comfortable than you might think, but it could certainly be more comfortable. The waist straps & sternum strap really help reduce weight on your back.

Great review, as always! Watching your OG review on this bag is one of the reasons why I bought it.

Got a similar bag ( Under Armour) 35L, great weekender backpack & sportsman duffel. Cool looking bag too. Nomatic has a following but rather out of reach for most folks. Awesome presentation mate.

P.S. surely, if the whole backpack community puts their resources together, we can start a movement called something like STODA. Stop Dangle!

Cool review, dude! I remember the Nomatic backpack and messenger bag being very prone to scratches. Is it the same with this one?

I 'm kinda shocked to see that basically every external pocket eats up so much room in the main compartment, though. I think that would be a deal breaker for me (I'm still looking for a nice one-bag-travel bag that can be used in an office setting.

    Cheers, Chris!

I might have missed it but did you mention whether the zippers are from YKK or another reputable manufacturer? Because i believe nomatic uses unbranded zippers which is just unacceptable especially for what nomatic charges for their bags

I backed this bag on KS , liked the boxy look but it was really not enjoyable to use. Too heavy, cheap materials, hard zippers on the edges, messy organisation, etc. Ended to sell it. Nice video btw.

Held this back till after the bellroy vote. My tin foil hat is itching. Srsly kind of a dope bag.

The drain is clever. Looks kind of uncomfortable and not super ergonomic.

Great review, A-A-Ron! I’ve owned this bag for 2 years now and it works well as my personal item on flights fitting under any Delta/AA/Southwest seat. Pro tip, use the shoe compartment for a smaller/slimmer packing cube and put your shoes on the bottom of the bag.

You were spot in about the dangle problem though, it drives me nuts!
