This is not a normal price you usually pay for these type of lots. Usually, you pay $10 – $15 just for shipping to begin with. Most bids begin at $10.00. Those cameos do not go for that much money, unless you want to sit on them for a whole year. Cameos do not sell that well, unless you sell them in lots.

The people who buy jewelry on Ebay, want to buy pounds and pounds of cheap jewelry for nothing. It's more like a waste of time for me. Running on a hamster wheel kind of business to recoup what you invested.
I do shopgoodwill but you have to know what you are doing or you can end up losing money, your marcasite lot (what happened with those pieces btw?) is more typical of a high quality lot in terms of what you have to pay to acquire it. Some lots go for so much money it is mind blowing especially the costume jewelry lots where you literally can't see what in the heck you are buying.

I've won three auctions from ShopGoodwill. The first two had Brighton jewelry and handbags. I sold almost all of the pieces within a week and made a nice profit. I have a mixed lot (Henri Bendel, Betsey Johnson, J Crew, Ann Taylor Loft, Fossil, etc) of jewelry that I'm listing now and I've sold a couple pieces already. I love the convenience of it, but you have to be diligent with your watch list. I've missed out on some merchandise because I forgot to put in a bid before the auction ended.
