My 0 Dropshipping Experiment: 30 Day Challenge

Dropshipping has become a popular way for individuals to start a business with little to no initial investment. With dropshipping, you can sell products to customers without having to hold inventory or manage shipping. It’s a low-risk way to test out different products and see what resonates with your target audience.

I decided to take on the challenge of starting a dropshipping business with just $100. I wanted to see if it was possible to turn a profit in just 30 days with such a limited budget. Here’s how my journey went:

Day 1: I spent the first day researching products and suppliers. I wanted to find a niche that was not too saturated but had enough demand to make sales. After hours of browsing different products, I settled on selling phone accessories.

Day 2-7: I set up my online store using Shopify, which cost me around $30 for the basic plan. I also spent some money on creating a logo and designing the website to make it look professional. I found a few suppliers on AliExpress that offered high-quality phone accessories at affordable prices.

Day 8-15: I started marketing my store using Facebook ads. I set a budget of $20 per day and targeted people who were interested in technology and smartphones. I also reached out to Instagram influencers to promote my products in exchange for a commission.

Day 16-30: I started to see some sales coming in, but it was not enough to cover my expenses. I decided to adjust my marketing strategy and invest more money in Instagram influencers. I also reached out to bloggers and tech websites to review my products.

At the end of the 30-day challenge, I had made a total of $300 in sales. After deducting all my expenses, including advertising costs and product costs, I was left with a profit of $50. While it wasn’t a huge success, it was still a positive outcome considering I started with only $100.

Through this challenge, I learned that dropshipping can be a viable business model for those with limited resources. It requires a lot of hard work, patience, and trial and error to find what works best for your store. While I didn’t make a huge profit in just 30 days, I believe that with more time and effort, I could turn this into a successful and sustainable business.

Overall, I would recommend anyone interested in dropshipping to give it a try, even if you have a limited budget. With careful planning and dedication, it is possible to turn a small investment into a profitable business venture.
