My 14-Day Experiment with Sneaker Flipping

Sneaker flipping has become a popular way for individuals to make some extra cash by buying and selling limited edition or sought-after sneakers. As someone who has always been interested in fashion and streetwear, I decided to test out this trend for myself and see if I could make a profit in just 14 days.

I started by doing some research on which sneakers were currently in high demand and which ones were selling for a good price on the resale market. I also looked into popular sneaker release dates and how to secure a pair of limited edition sneakers from retailers or online drops.

On the first day of my sneaker flipping experiment, I was able to purchase a pair of highly coveted sneakers that had just been released. I managed to get them for retail price and quickly listed them on various online marketplaces for a markup. Within a few hours, I had already made a profit of $100.

Encouraged by my initial success, I continued to buy and sell sneakers over the next two weeks. I found that timing was crucial when it came to selling sneakers for a profit – listing them as soon as possible after a release or restock was key to attracting buyers who were willing to pay top dollar.

I also learned the importance of building relationships with other sneaker enthusiasts and resellers. By networking with others in the sneaker community, I was able to learn about upcoming releases, secure access to exclusive drops, and even find potential buyers for sneakers that I wanted to sell.

By the end of my 14-day experiment, I had successfully flipped several pairs of sneakers and made a total profit of $500. While this may not seem like a significant amount of money, it was a satisfying outcome considering the relatively short time frame of the challenge.

Overall, my experience with sneaker flipping was both profitable and enjoyable. I learned a lot about the sneaker resale market, honed my negotiation skills, and gained a better understanding of the value of limited edition sneakers. While I may not pursue sneaker flipping as a full-time business, I will definitely continue to dabble in it as a side hustle in the future.

StockX is rubbish, made an account etc and got sneakers to sell, go to add a payment method which StockX approve and I get constant message – We are unable to add your payment method at this time. Please select another payment method and try again… utter horse sh*t of a website. Tried credit card and debit card and nothing and by searching online for a solution I'm 1 out of probably thousands of people having this issue and theres no fix… RIP me. Got to sell somewhere else then.
