I Tried Dropshipping for 2 Months – Here’s the TRUTH
Dropshipping has been a popular business model for many aspiring entrepreneurs in recent years. The promise of low start-up costs and the potential for high-profit margins has attracted many people to this e-commerce method. However, as with any business venture, there are pros and cons to consider. I decided to try dropshipping for two months and here’s the truth about my experience.
First off, the idea of not having to hold inventory or deal with shipping and fulfillment sounded appealing. I set up an online store and began researching products to sell. I found a few suppliers and listed their products on my website. It was relatively easy to get started, and I was excited to see if I could make some money without a huge investment.
However, as I got into the nitty-gritty of dropshipping, I quickly realized that it’s not as easy as it seems. While I didn’t have to handle the inventory, I did have to deal with customer service, which can be time-consuming and sometimes frustrating. There were also issues with product quality and shipping times, which led to unhappy customers and a few negative reviews.
Another challenge I faced was the lack of control over the inventory. Since I was relying on suppliers to fulfill orders, I had no way of knowing if they were out of stock or experiencing delays. This meant that I had to constantly monitor my website and communicate with my suppliers to ensure that orders were being fulfilled in a timely manner.
One of the biggest frustrations for me was the slim profit margins. With dropshipping, you are essentially acting as a middleman, and this means that you have to mark up the products to make a profit. With the competition from other dropshippers and the additional costs of marketing and advertising, it was difficult to make a substantial profit.
After two months, I realized that dropshipping was not the right business model for me. While I did make a few sales, the time and effort I put into it did not yield the results I had hoped for. I also felt that I did not have the control and flexibility that I wanted in a business.
In conclusion, dropshipping can be a viable business model for some people, but it’s not as easy and lucrative as it’s often made out to be. It requires a lot of time, effort, and attention to detail, and the profit margins can be slim. While it didn’t work out for me, I have learned valuable lessons about e-commerce and business ownership. If you’re considering dropshipping, make sure to do thorough research and understand the challenges before diving in.

Is Dropshipping Unlocked a scam?
The problem i faced in dropshipping is shopify itself and the method of cashing out was next to impossible and adding credit card as a payment method which requires llc and other crap, my country doesn't support stripe and as a beginner back in the day my budget was very low i managed to make some revenue and profit from dropshipping but shopify knew i couldn't withdraw so they shut down my store, that's my problem with dropshipping, not marketing or finding products or selling it, but online bank companies that requires you tons of paper work.
Have you tried Unify Dropshipping? if so, I'd love to see a video on it!
I would never ever buy anything from Shopify, hard pass
Why wouldn't I just buy them from the original supplier?
What a scam. Everything this guy says is just straight BS.
Thank you for your informative video.
What are the fixed operational cost per month of doing dropshipping? Regardsless or profit or loss?
Solid video
Great video Mark really like your videos. I am considering going into drop shipping. I think with all businesses and any venture in life it’s what you do with it yourself. Too many people think that these things are just buttons to turn on and then the magic happens. Clearly all the steps require careful choices and effort.
I wonder how high the chances are to make money , since there are ton of seller in the competition.
Impressive value and dinstinct against other channels videos.
Also very appealing for teens, because sometimes you make funny statements.
A very good channel, indeed.
nice
Nice work mark you've been so transparent about this dropshipping thing and it shows your level of commitment

Dropshipping, the art of selling crap for profit
Insted of doing blind sale you can buy a product and test yourself for quality and the other things to be in a market and satisfy our customers.. I suggest people who really don't know anything about customer satisfaction then it's better don't do this coz you will be in loss and not only that but others who do well they also be in trouble because of some dsr-s..
I have an idea: what if you created a bot that automatically fills information about the customer instead of you. It would save time and when are done with it you can start selling it. What do you think??

yes you are completely right: the issue of the delivery time can be fixed with a good supplier. which you will need to communicate about the delivery can be done within a week if you find the good supplier and communicate them or just giving a few bucks extra so they will do it really fast.
Hi Mark every you experienced is what I am currently experiencing, which is stressful so iam looking for another way to make money without me having to run to the post office, I don't have the money to buy in bulk or take the hit if the product is bad quality on arrival.
I've been dropshipping for a few months now. What I've noticed is that a lot of people talk down about it. I think that is totally unreasonable. It's an excellent business model for beginners and can potentially bring in tons of money. I myself have already made a decent amount. The problem is most people don't take it seriously, and or are too lazy to learn the skills to excel. Overall dropshipping is merely a bridge to go onward to better things as such branded ecommerce or something else.
I can tell that he really enjoys making videos, thank you for the great advice

Please, more videos on business:)
with shopify, and similar methods, we can't do really business. in another video, however, you said yes. mah

Dropshipping has changed my life as it taught me marketing and sales funnel. If you master the art of marketing, you will make money so easily in almost any industry as long as you have a potential product/ service. PS: I am not drop-shipping now but my business is using what Drop Shipping has taught me. I wish I started dropshipping a lot earlier.
