A Day in My Life in Da Nang, Vietnam | The Digital Nomad Lifestyle
As a digital nomad living in the vibrant city of Da Nang, Vietnam, my days are filled with adventure, productivity, and cultural immersion. Da Nang has quickly become a hotspot for digital nomads due to its affordable cost of living, beautiful beaches, and thriving expat community. Here’s a glimpse into a typical day in my life as a digital nomad in Da Nang.
I start my day with a morning walk along My Khe Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in Da Nang. The golden sands and crystal-clear waters are the perfect backdrop for my morning meditation and stretching routine. Living near the beach has been a dream come true, and I take advantage of the peaceful atmosphere to prepare myself for the day ahead.
After my morning routine, I head to one of the many charming cafes in the city to grab a cup of Vietnamese coffee and a delicious banh mi sandwich. Da Nang is known for its strong coffee and gooey, flavorful banh mi, making it the perfect start to my day. As I sip my coffee, I take in the bustling city around me and start planning my work for the day.
One of the perks of being a digital nomad in Da Nang is the abundance of co-working spaces and creative hubs. I make my way to a local co-working space, set up my laptop, and dive into my work. The city’s reliable internet connection and affordable workspaces make it easy for me to stay productive and focused on my projects.
At lunchtime, I head to a nearby pho restaurant to indulge in a steaming bowl of Vietnam’s famous noodle soup. The rich, flavorful broth and tender slices of beef are a true delight for my taste buds. After a satisfying meal, I take a stroll through the vibrant streets, admiring the colorful lanterns and bustling markets.
In the afternoon, I take a break from work and explore the city. Da Nang is home to several iconic landmarks, such as the Marble Mountains and the Dragon Bridge, both of which offer breathtaking views of the city and its surroundings. I spend my afternoons walking through the historical streets and soaking up the rich culture and history of Vietnam.
As the day comes to a close, I make my way to one of the city’s many upscale restaurants for dinner. Da Nang offers an array of dining options, from traditional Vietnamese cuisine to international flavors. I treat myself to a mouthwatering seafood feast and a cold beer as I unwind and reflect on the day’s adventures.
I end my day by watching the sunset over the Han River, a magical experience that never fails to take my breath away. The city’s skyline comes alive with colorful lights, and I am reminded of how fortunate I am to call Da Nang my home.
Living the digital nomad lifestyle in Da Nang has been an incredible journey. The city’s natural beauty, vibrant culture, and thriving expat community have made it the perfect place for me to live, work, and explore. As the day comes to an end, I am filled with gratitude for the opportunity to experience all that Da Nang has to offer.

I know that surf spot! My favourite spot was the first set of chairs on the beach behind you at Holiday Beach Club 🙂 I saw lots of surfers there over the month. Saw a couple of them in a characterful bar off Beach Road with an old car outside as decoration. Sand on the floor and wacky interior design. Think they rent boards and do lessons from there. Did a good passion fruit smoothie and very cheap beer!
