My Experience of Side Hustles: Ranking From Best to Worst

Ranking Side Hustles I’ve Tried From Worst to Best

In today’s gig economy, many people are turning to side hustles to supplement their income. I, too, have dabbled in a few side hustles over the years, and I thought it would be interesting to rank them from worst to best based on my personal experiences.

Worst: Multi-level Marketing (MLM) – MLMs are often touted as a great way to make extra money, but my experience with them has been less than stellar. The pressure to recruit others and the high costs associated with purchasing products to sell made this side hustle more of a burden than a benefit.

Next Worst: Dog Walking – While I love animals, I found that dog walking was more time-consuming than I had anticipated. It was also difficult to schedule walks around my full-time job, and the pay wasn’t as high as I had hoped.

Middle of the Road: Freelance Writing – As a writer, I thought freelance writing would be a great way to earn extra cash. While I did enjoy the flexibility and creative freedom, the inconsistent pay and the competitive nature of the industry made it difficult to rely on as a steady source of income.

Next Best: Virtual Assistant – As a virtual assistant, I found that I could work remotely and on my own schedule, which was a huge plus. The pay was decent, and I enjoyed the variety of tasks I was able to take on.

Best: Airbnb Host – By far, my most successful side hustle has been hosting on Airbnb. I was able to leverage my spare room into a steady stream of income, and I enjoyed meeting new people from all over the world. The extra money I made from Airbnb significantly helped with my financial goals.

In conclusion, not all side hustles are created equal, and what works for one person may not work for another. It’s important to weigh the pros and cons of each side hustle and consider how it aligns with your goals and lifestyle. While some side hustles may not be the right fit, there are always new opportunities to explore and potentially find the perfect side hustle for you.

The second one seems a bit fraudulent seeing that you are just buying sunglasses for a dollar and then upselling them for a lot to make a profit (not throwing flame but that is just how i see it)
