My experience with TikTok dropshipping: Currently not working

If you’re like me and constantly on the lookout for the latest trends in online business, you’ve probably heard about dropshipping on TikTok. With its massive user base and viral content, TikTok has become a hotspot for e-commerce entrepreneurs looking to capitalize on its popularity.

I recently decided to give TikTok dropshipping a try, thinking it would be a great way to tap into a new and potentially lucrative market. However, my experience has been far from smooth sailing. In fact, it’s safe to say that TikTok dropshipping is broken right now.

One of the biggest challenges I faced was getting my products in front of the right audience. TikTok’s algorithm is notoriously difficult to crack, and as a relatively new player in the e-commerce space, I struggled to gain any traction with my posts. Despite spending hours creating engaging content and following all the tips and tricks I could find, my views and engagement remained disappointingly low.

Another issue I encountered was the lack of trust and credibility associated with dropshipping on TikTok. Many users are skeptical of products coming from unknown sources, and with the rise of scammy dropshipping stores and unfulfilled orders, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to build a reputable brand on the platform.

Furthermore, the logistics of dropshipping on TikTok can be a nightmare. Shipping times are often long and unpredictable, leading to frustrated customers and negative reviews. And with the recent crackdown on dropshipping by TikTok itself, many sellers are finding their accounts suspended or banned, further complicating an already challenging process.

Overall, my experience with TikTok dropshipping has been less than ideal. While some sellers may have success with this business model, it’s clear that there are significant hurdles to overcome in order to make it work. If you’re thinking about trying TikTok dropshipping, proceed with caution and be prepared for a bumpy ride. As for me, I’ll be looking for other opportunities in the e-commerce world that offer more stability and potential for growth.

appreciate the hustle but, one look at that knife, I can tell it's not worth that price. The blade doesn't glide well. TikTok really just taking advantage of people with impulsive spending habits.

I've tried this. Made a pretty crappy no edit video on a dresser that I already had. Took me 2 weeks to sell 4 products – 300 views. I boosted that video with ads and didn't make any sales with 5k views. So yeah, just let it ride…with no ads.
