Nervous Overload: My Successful Virtual Assistant Interview with Kuya Reneboy

With the rapid advancement in technology, the use of virtual assistants has become a common practice in many businesses. These virtual assistants are designed to provide virtual support to their employers, handling various tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing emails, and even conducting research.

One individual who recently went through the process of interviewing for a virtual assistant position is Kuya Reneboy. He described the experience as nerve-wracking and overwhelming due to the high expectations and the pressure to perform well in the interview.

“I have always been confident in my skills as a virtual assistant,” Kuya Reneboy shared. “But when it came to the actual interview, I couldn’t help but feel the pressure and nervous overload.”

During the interview, Kuya Reneboy was asked to demonstrate his ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, showcase his problem-solving skills, and effectively communicate with the interviewer. These expectations, coupled with the unfamiliar virtual setting, added to his nervousness.

“It was challenging to communicate effectively through a computer screen,” Kuya Reneboy admitted. “I had to make sure I was articulating my thoughts clearly, and at the same time, showcase my skillset as a virtual assistant.”

Despite the nervous overload, Kuya Reneboy managed to impress the interviewer with his proficiency in managing various tasks and his ability to adapt to different virtual platforms. His experience and knowledge in using virtual assistant tools and software also contributed to his success in the interview.

“I tried to stay focused and composed throughout the interview,” Kuya Reneboy shared. “I knew that I had the skills and experience required for the position, and I was determined to showcase that despite the nervousness.”

That intonation in her voice when she asked you , why are you late? I found it very unprofessional. That language was really rude.

For those people who are planning to apply to any BPO company and would like to become an agent. You must always remember this, "DO NOT BE AFRAID TO COMMIT MISTAKES" most especially if you are hesitant to speak english because you are conscious with your grammar.
FYI, no matter how bad your grammar is, as long as you were able to answer the questions through english then that's fine and that can be forgiven, they can actually consider your preliminary interview and pass you. The hardest part of becoming a call center is the beginning, the starting point. But if you are able to pass all the obstacles and got endorse to prod. Then it means you made it.

Thank you for sharing this. I am curious how was your experience when you transitioned to WFH and virtual assistant job. May be you can inspire and give us tip as I am really motivated to transition to WFH and virtual assistant opportunities as I am now a solo parent and would want both to provide for my kids and be a present mom and spend quality time with my kids at the same time. Thanks in advance
