have extensive customer service experience being a bartender and server for the last 5 years and beyond. I wanted to start a solid career though and decided to try the health care field by starting out as a medical assistant and getting some experience. I applied to a local apprenticeship program and have friends in the field that supported me. waited and waited after i gave impeccable references…finally heard back today like 2 weeks later and they said theyre moving forward with other candidates…

Idk why but im extremely disappointed. in my mind i felt like i was a lock for an opportunity in the program as both my interviews went exceptionally well..

Ive spent the last couple weeks thinking about my future and what it would be like to have a solid career going for me and all the opportunities it could provide me long term. and just like that. in a computer generated email. i'm rejected…

not sure what to do now…I already have 2 degrees i dont use. cant express enough how surprised and disappointed i am. i guess thats my fault for thinking i had it in the bag when i didnt.
