Reselling Video Games on Ebay: A Guide to Making Money with Shipping included

eBay Flipping Video Games for Resell – SHIPPING

If you’re a video game enthusiast looking to make some extra cash, flipping video games on eBay could be a lucrative option for you. With the growing popularity of retro and rare video games, there is a high demand for these items, and eBay is the perfect platform to reach potential buyers. However, when it comes to reselling video games, the shipping process is crucial to ensure a smooth and successful transaction.

Here are some tips for successfully flipping video games on eBay, with a focus on the shipping process:

1. Proper Packaging
When shipping video games, it’s important to ensure that they are packaged securely to prevent any damage during transit. Use bubble wrap and sturdy boxes to protect the games from any potential impact. If you’re shipping rare or valuable games, consider using padded envelopes or small boxes to provide extra protection.

2. Choose the Right Shipping Method
When listing your items on eBay, be sure to offer various shipping options to cater to different customer needs. For domestic shipments, consider using USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground for faster and more reliable delivery. For international shipments, consider using USPS International or eBay Global Shipping Program to simplify the customs process.

3. Offer Tracking and Insurance
To provide peace of mind to your buyers and protect yourself as a seller, always offer tracking and insurance options for your shipments. This will allow both you and your buyer to monitor the delivery of the package and provide coverage in case of loss or damage during transit.

4. Communicate with Your Buyers
Once the item has been shipped, be sure to communicate with your buyers and provide them with the tracking information. This will help build trust with your customers and ensure a smooth and positive buying experience. If any issues arise during the shipping process, be sure to address them promptly and professionally.

5. Calculate Shipping Costs Accurately
When listing your items on eBay, be sure to accurately calculate the shipping costs to avoid any surprises for you or your buyers. Consider the weight of the package, the destination, and any additional fees for insurance or tracking. Offering free shipping can also be a good incentive for buyers, but be sure to factor in those costs when pricing your items.

Overall, flipping video games on eBay can be a profitable venture if done right. By paying attention to the shipping process and ensuring a positive buying experience for your customers, you can build a successful resale business and satisfy the demands of video game enthusiasts worldwide. So, start sourcing those rare and valuable video games, and get ready to make some extra cash with eBay flipping!

    Thanks.
    Im a subscriber.

Im not getting many views on my video games on ebay.

Im not sure if im charging too much for shipping.

I dont trust people so i get signature required on all my packages so i dont ever have to hear "i didnt get the package".

Im doing usps first class mail for games $30 or less :
    First class 5.50, envelope 1.50, signature required 2.50 = 9.50 cost, so i charge $9.99.

Im doing usps priority mail for games $31 or more :
    Priority mail 9.50, signature required 2.50 = 12 cost, so i charge $12.99.

    These are my costs.
Should i not be getting signature required ? (I like security).

Should i be taking a small loss and charge less for shipping ?

Should i do FREE SHIPPING and raise the game price by $7-$10 to make up ?

Also i think charging shipping would kind of prevent some sleazy buyers from returning things all the time because that puts them at risk of losing the initial Shipping and or half of the full refund if theyre returning for a fake reason.

    Thanks.
