Running Multiple Amazon FBA Seller Central Accounts: A Step-by-Step Guide

Amazon FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) has become a popular platform for e-commerce sellers to reach a wider audience and streamline their shipping and customer service processes. However, many sellers may find themselves wanting to expand their operations and run multiple Amazon FBA Seller Central accounts. While this may seem like a daunting task, it is possible with the right strategy and organization.

Here are some tips on how to successfully run multiple Amazon FBA Seller Central accounts:

1. Separate email addresses and bank accounts: In order to create multiple Seller Central accounts, you will need to have separate email addresses and bank accounts for each account. This will help to keep your finances organized and prevent any confusion between the different accounts.

2. Keep track of inventory: It is important to keep track of inventory for each account separately. This can be done by using inventory management software or spreadsheets to track sales, restocking needs, and fulfillment processes for each account.

3. Utilize Amazon’s multi-channel fulfillment: Amazon offers a multi-channel fulfillment service that allows sellers to fulfill orders from other e-commerce platforms or sales channels through their FBA account. This can help streamline your fulfillment process and make it easier to manage multiple accounts.

4. Use different product catalogs: To prevent overlap or confusion between products in your different accounts, it is recommended to use separate product catalogs for each account. This will help you keep track of sales, inventory, and performance metrics for each account.

5. Monitor performance metrics: Amazon provides various performance metrics for sellers to track their sales, customer feedback, and account health. It is important to monitor these metrics for each account separately to identify any issues or areas for improvement.

6. Hire additional help: Running multiple Amazon FBA Seller Central accounts can be a time-consuming task, especially as your business grows. Consider hiring additional help such as virtual assistants or account managers to help manage the day-to-day operations of each account.

7. Stay compliant with Amazon’s policies: Amazon has strict policies and guidelines for sellers to follow in order to maintain a healthy account. Make sure to stay compliant with Amazon’s policies for each of your accounts to avoid any penalties or account suspensions.

In conclusion, running multiple Amazon FBA Seller Central accounts can be a profitable venture for e-commerce sellers, but it requires careful planning and organization. By following these tips and staying organized, you can successfully manage multiple accounts and grow your e-commerce business on Amazon.

I've been selling a private label brand on my main account, but now I want to spin it off into a separate entity and Amazon account. How do I go about this, since there will be some overlap where the two accounts are selling the same products, although the plan is to, in the end, only sell the products on the private label account?

Registering multiple amazon accounts is a breeze with Hidemyacc's antidetect browser and high-quality proxies. Anyone else here tried this method to stay incognito?

Hi Steve quick question, I really hope you can clarify this for me. I own and operate my own Amazon account and I’m helping my two friends/clients manage theirs as well. My Amazon is registered in my name and my own llc and their accounts are registered in their separate names and their own llc. They gave me access via permission with an email I created specifically to help with both stores with no admin permission. I currently navigate between both stores using the same email, is that okay to do so ?

    Hi Steve,
Really Appreciate your videos. I have a question. So, I registered a brand in my current account so for example I am selling Product A and I don't have that much amazon capacity to store more inventory in amazon and now I want to open second account to sell the same brand products. So, am I allowed to open a second account or not?

    Hi Steven.

Would you know if I have 2 amazon accounts and made a few listings on that account (they are inactive), if I went ahead and closed them and re-listed them with the same UPC code on a different account can that cause a problem with Amazon having 2 accounts?
    They are 2 separate brands.

    Hi, this video is amazing!
I just want to know what are the pros and cons in creating a 2nd seller central account?
I just started working with a client (I'm new to Amazon) and he used his personal email to create the account. The store it not actually set up yet, no listings etc.
Should we create a different seller central account to use a business email address or are we good to move forward with the account he already has?
    I appreciate your response!

Hi Steven, great video thank you!

I opened a case with seller support team and informed them that I want to open a 2nd selling account for my second limited company in the uk that develops its own brand. They relied that no approval is required as long as I have legitimate business requirement.

    My questions here:
-Is it ok if I am the only director for both companies, the company with the current seller Central account, and the company that I want to open a 2nd selling acc for?

-Do I apply for a 2nd account by signing out of my current selling account and sign up like I did for my first selling account?

Your advise is hugely appreciated, thank you!

What about using the same phone number? I have a business account with a partner but have my own product that I want to sell on my own account. I have the llc, tax Id. Just need to open a bank account and register an email address to my domain that is not live yet. Will amazon mess with me having the same number even though it would be on 2 accounts that sell products that are 100% different from each other?

    Hi Steven,

Question: if it is possible to create a Seller account, even though another family member has a Seller account and you both share the same address.

My dad is a seller on amazon for years and is in good standing and I been managing it for him, now I want my own business, can I create an acc even though we share the same home address? I realized this when I needed to verify proof of id.

This is the reply from amazon support: “Base on the details you have provided, it is clear that having two accounts from the same household is not allowed.”

Who can we direct this email to? Would it be sellers performance?

    Administration wise, we will have:

    – Different bank account

    – Different login account

    – Different warehouse address

But on paper, we have the same home address on passport/ id, will this be a problem?

Now say, if we can both have a selling account on Amazon, can we share the same work address, ip, and return warehouse address going forward or have to be separate?

I know this maybe answered, but each time I ask Amazon, they will say no to 3-5 emails sent with different rep. I’m not too sure why they are not trained for this, or maybe I'm just asking the wrong support reps?

    Hope to get your input.

    Thanks in advance.

Hi Steven, thank you so much for the valuable information you provide in this and other videos in this channel. I have a question that I hope you can help answer:

I have recently opened a seller account for a private label brand I am working on to launch next year (this account has no activity yet). In addition, I would like to do some wholesale as well. I would like to keep the private label side separate from wholesale if possible. I just do not know if this is a good enough business reason for Amazon to approve a second account. My thought is to have two separate single-member LLC’s, each owns one account, but both LLC’s are under my name. I will follow the guidelines (EIN, bank accounts, virtual business addresses, email & phone numbers, etc.) to keep these two accounts separate.

    Your insight is tremendously appreciated.
