Travel to Sarajevo – Being a Digital Nomad during Covid 19

The Covid-19 pandemic has undoubtedly reshaped the way we live and work. With remote work becoming the new norm for many, the concept of being a digital nomad has taken on a new meaning. As the world slowly reopens and travel becomes increasingly accessible, Sarajevo emerges as an appealing destination for digital nomads seeking an affordable and culturally rich environment to work and live.

Sarajevo, the capital city of Bosnia and Herzegovina, is a destination that blends the charm of a bygone era with the vibrancy of a modern city. With its rich history, stunning architecture, and natural beauty, Sarajevo offers an authentic and diverse experience for digital nomads looking to immerse themselves in a unique cultural environment.

One of the key attractions of Sarajevo for digital nomads is its affordability. The cost of living in Sarajevo is considerably lower than in many European cities, making it an appealing choice for those working remotely. From accommodation to dining and transportation, digital nomads can enjoy a high standard of living at a fraction of the cost in Sarajevo.

Moreover, Sarajevo’s central location in the heart of the Balkans offers digital nomads the opportunity to explore the surrounding region. From the stunning landscapes of Mostar and the Adriatic coast to the historic towns in neighboring Croatia and Montenegro, Sarajevo serves as an ideal base for exploring the diverse attractions of the Balkans.

Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, Sarajevo has remained a welcoming and safe destination for travelers. The city has implemented strict health and safety measures to ensure the well-being of its residents and visitors, making it an ideal choice for digital nomads seeking a secure environment to live and work.

Honey, "the communist" architecture you shown is pre-WWII building that survived two brutal wars, and wasn't repaired since the last one. Skenderija, Bosnian TV building, Holliday Inn… and all the housing building complexes are the communist architecture in Sarajevo. Not to mention all other infrastructure built around Winter Olympics 1984 is Sarajevo.
