House hunting in Europe is a dream for many, and one Seattle couple is making that dream a reality. Leaving the United States to live abroad in Europe, they are eager to explore new cultures and find the perfect home to start their next chapter.
Tom and Sarah have always been drawn to Europe, with its rich history, diverse cultures, and beautiful landscapes. They have decided to take the leap and relocate to Europe, with their sights set on finding a new home in an English-speaking country.
The couple started their house hunting journey in the United Kingdom, where they fell in love with the charming villages and bustling cities. From the historic streets of London to the picturesque countryside of the Cotswolds, they were captivated by the variety of housing options available.
After exploring the UK, Tom and Sarah expanded their search to other English-speaking countries in Europe, such as Ireland and Malta. They were impressed by the warm hospitality and vibrant communities they encountered, and were pleasantly surprised by the affordable housing options available.
House hunting in Europe can be an exciting and rewarding experience, but it also comes with its challenges. Tom and Sarah had to navigate different real estate markets, legal processes, and cultural norms as they searched for their perfect home. They also had to consider practicalities such as healthcare, transportation, and education for their children.
Despite the challenges, Tom and Sarah were determined to find a home that not only met their practical needs but also captured the spirit of European living. They envisioned a cozy cottage in the Irish countryside or a modern apartment overlooking the Mediterranean Sea in Malta.
As they continued their house hunting journey, the couple marveled at the range of homes available in Europe. From historic castles to contemporary townhouses, there was a diverse array of properties to choose from. They were captivated by the unique architecture, breathtaking views, and rich history that each home offered.
After months of searching and countless viewings, Tom and Sarah finally found the perfect home in Ireland. Nestled in the rolling hills of the countryside, their new home is a charming cottage with a lush garden and stunning views. It was love at first sight, and they knew it was the perfect place to start their new life in Europe.
House hunting in Europe has been an unforgettable adventure for Tom and Sarah, and they are excited to embrace all that their new home has to offer. From exploring local markets and savoring traditional cuisine to immersing themselves in the vibrant community, they are eager to embrace the European way of life.
For anyone considering a move to Europe, Tom and Sarah’s story is a reminder that house hunting in Europe can be an enriching and fulfilling experience. With determination, an open mind, and a sense of adventure, finding a new home abroad is an achievable dream. Whether it’s in the UK, Ireland, or Malta, Europe offers a wealth of opportunities for those seeking a new place to call home.

Oh me oh my oh…Kristin, when was this video actually made…not recently, as it looks like summer, not winter. Was it when you lived in Bansko, years ago? I ask, because of two things-my sense is that rent prices have gone up…just what would those apartments you showed the guys cost today? Also, I heard that Bulgaria is on the verge of entering Schengen Zone status, which sucks, as I always saw it as somewhere to go inbetween 90 limits in SZ, so…what say you?
Great choice!!! Bulgaria is a small but a great country to live. My husband and I spent time in Pamporovo, Bulgaria surrounded by the Rhodope Mountains. A sky and hiking area. Gorgeous!!! Thank you for the video.
as an avid fan of HHI i LOVED this.
Hi Kristin, Not watching so many videos the last fw months, but caught this one. Always love your style! Thank you! I keep working, but am trying to make it viable to do it from anywhere. I have the $ to do what I want, but while I keep downsizing and spending more time abroad, I have not moved completely to be a digital Nomad. I will get there. Thank yo for your help and guidance. Back to Bali and Spain early next year. Take care! TY
What a pretty town and spectacular surroundings.
It goes on my list of ''Vacation Possibles''.
Good video, Kristin !
Great video! We spent a week in Plovdiv last spring and three nights in Sofia and fell in love with Bulgaria. We wanted to visit Bansko and now I wish we had.
Hey Kristin
I love these episodes showing real people and their experiences. Ale 🙂
Wow, Kristen, I didn’t realize you worked with people looking for short-term stays, thought it was only permanent relocation and residency! Cool to know! And what great guys; heading off to see their IG and site as well. Bansko has been on my list since you featured it, and this reinforces how wonderful it seems. Happy Holidays! Marijka
I'm so disenchanted with the USA,I would like to move abroad as well.
omg, I wonder what is the price for the ski lift for one day. Why anyone would retire in USA with those prices overseas? great video.
House Hunters International With Kristin! Except this was so much better than the show!
Good analysis => good choice. Eastern Europe is a good place to live. Enjoy healthier food and better air. As somebody who get pollen allergies every summer, I go for coastal areas or humid climate. People who want to live in Europe long term, consider allergies too. Plenty of places have bad allergens: hay, willow, populous etc. Populous don't grow in America or Asia, only in Europe. So be aware.
It looks wonderful. But aren't there other apartments available that might be nicer for a bit more money?
elogios Kristen! por crear tanta positividad y felicidad, nos vemos proximamente..bye
What a wonderful video, Kristin! You are really great at your relocation job and did a fantastic job with this couple, do you know how they are doing now? You got right down to the basics with them and are quite knowledgeable about the city, well done!
Thanks!
Beautiful town! At those prices, they should look at a few more apartments – maybe something they would like a little better.
Another very interesting video. Nice format . Thanks again for all your great content.
Banko is over the top wonderful. I had no idea.
I want to leave the PNW for somewhere full of sunshine! And cheaper.
What a great video! I really liked this step-by-step process on how they made the decision to stay in Bansko for the next few months. I think this very helpful for anyone whom is looking to relocate somewhere. Great video!
Great episode – It is awesome to see gay digital nomads. I lived in many countries and moved recently to Bulgaria. I am in love with this country -people, food, and the weather.
