The Filipino breakfast favorite “silog” has become a staple in the country’s food scene. Silog is a combination of fried rice and a choice of protein, like tocino (sweet cured pork), tapa (cured beef), longganisa (Filipino sausage), or even hotdog, served with a sunny-side-up egg on top. This delicious and filling meal is a hit among many Filipinos, making it a popular business venture for aspiring entrepreneurs.

One business idea that has been gaining popularity is the 30k/day silog business. This business model aims to generate a daily income of 30,000 pesos or around $600 by selling different variations of silog meals. With the right strategy and delicious offerings, this business can be a lucrative venture for those who want to enter the food industry.

To start a 30k/day silog business, you will need to consider the costing and recipe for your offerings. Here’s how you can start your own silog business, including a sample costing and a simple recipe to get you started.

Costing:
To determine the cost of your silog meals, you will need to consider the prices of ingredients, packaging, and other expenses. Here’s a sample costing for a single serving of tocino silog:

– Tocino (100g) – 15 pesos
– Rice (1 cup) – 5 pesos
– Egg – 7 pesos
– Packaging (plastic container, spoon, and fork) – 5 pesos
– Miscellaneous (condiments, utilities, etc.) – 3 pesos
Total Cost: 35 pesos
Selling Price: 50 pesos
Profit: 15 pesos per serving

Recipe:
Here’s a simple recipe for tocino, one of the most popular silog variations:

Ingredients:
– 500g pork belly, sliced into thin strips
– 1 ½ cups pineapple juice
– 1 cup brown sugar
– ¼ cup soy sauce
– 3 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 tsp salt

4. Serve the tocino with garlic rice and a sunny-side-up egg.

Starting a 30k/day silog business can be a profitable venture with the right costing and delicious recipes. 30k/day is huge kung titingnan, but kailangan din natin inform ang viewers na that is all gross sales sometimes they are mis interpreting what they see because of lack of details but I guess and 15-20% profit margin is just really a breakeven, but kahit ganun pa man much better ang income to have a business of your own, however to truly educate kailangan din na ituro kung ano mga dapat nila isa alang2x sa mga kikitain

    Compute natin. Estimate:

    5K daily gross sales minimum – 5K/100 average price= 50 orders/meals

    30K daily gross sales maximum – 30K/100 average price = 300 orders/meals

    50 x 40 kita = 2K net
    300 x 40 kita = 12K net

365 days a year. Consider 3 months peak. And remaining days minimum.

    90 days x 12K kita = 1M
    270 days x 2K kita = 540K

Average Yearly Gross Profit Sales per year = 1.5M

    Expenses = Wages ng trabahador. Kunwari 700 daily x 365 days = 255K

    Net Profit = 1.25 M/year
