I'm surprised you found places to free camp there. Being in Michigan now for the last 9 years, your video reminds me only too much of how the Cats were a bare 45 minute drive from me. I miss them. Kaaterskill Falls. You pronounced it properly. You didn't see it back in the day when people kept sliding off and dying there but the DEC had it cleaned up and 'organized' and so all those people you saw there? A lot safer now. As for Peekamoose, I can remember a time when camping/hiking there and you could have the place to yourself. On longer camping trips it was always convenient to swim in the Rondout Creek. But ti's gotten SO DAMNED BUSY in there that all the pullouts and campsites have been removed.
