Step By Step Guide to Generating Amazon Affiliate Links

If you are a blogger or a content creator, you can earn money through the Amazon Affiliate program by promoting products and earning a commission on sales made through your referral links. Generating Amazon Affiliate links is an essential skill to master in order to take full advantage of this program. In this article, we will provide a step-by-step guide on how to generate Amazon Affiliate links.

Step 1: Sign Up for the Amazon Affiliate Program
Before you can start generating Amazon Affiliate links, you need to sign up for the program. You can do so by visiting the Amazon Associates website and creating an account. Once you have signed up, you will have access to the Amazon Associate dashboard where you can generate affiliate links.

Step 2: Find a Product to Promote
Once you have access to the Amazon Associate dashboard, you can start searching for products to promote. You can search for products directly on the Amazon website and use the “Site Stripe” tool to generate affiliate links for those products. Alternatively, you can use the “Product Linking” tool on the Amazon Associate dashboard to search for products and create affiliate links.

Step 3: Create the Affiliate Link
Once you have found a product to promote, you can start creating the affiliate link. On the Amazon website, click on the “Site Stripe” tool at the top of the page and select the option to create a text link, image link, or text and image link. You can then customize the link by adding tracking IDs and choosing the format of the link.

Step 4: Copy and Use the Affiliate Link
After generating the affiliate link, you can copy it and use it in your blog post, website, or social media platforms. When a user clicks on the link and makes a purchase, you will earn a commission on the sale.

Step 5: Monitor and Optimize Your Links
It is important to monitor the performance of your affiliate links and optimize them for better results. You can use the Amazon Associate dashboard to track clicks, earnings, and conversion rates for each of your links. By analyzing this data, you can make informed decisions on which products to promote and how to improve your affiliate marketing strategy.

In conclusion, generating Amazon Affiliate links is a straightforward process that can be done through the Amazon Associate dashboard or the “Site Stripe” tool on the Amazon website. By following the steps outlined in this article, you can start promoting products and earning a commission through the Amazon Affiliate program. Remember to comply with Amazon’s guidelines and regulations when using affiliate links, and always provide valuable and relevant content to your audience.

What do you mean only promote links to their website? Do you mean if I have a website and I wanted to direct traffic to Amazon I can not direct traffic to another website? Not like Walmart or anything but another site that has the same kind of content as mine like Brewing which happen to sell their own products. But my goal would be to offer resources for people to use to learn and find what they are looking for. But in Amazon's case I would have a list of items I recommend with links.

I have done this, the links are the same…but i got 2 accounts shut down saying my links don't have trackind id in them. In sitestripe it says that the links already have it built in and the help on the assosiacte central says don't worry we follow your trafic even without the ids.
But they keep closing my accounts and it is bullshit.
How do i put the Id in the links and how do i fix this? Anyone?
