Step by Step Tutorial 2021: Preparing and Sending Amazon FBA Shipment for Retail Arbitrage

Selling products through Amazon’s Fulfilled by Amazon (FBA) program can be a lucrative venture for those looking to make money through retail arbitrage. Retail arbitrage involves purchasing products from retail stores at a lower price and reselling them for a profit on platforms like Amazon.

If you’re new to Amazon FBA or looking to streamline your shipment process, this step-by-step tutorial for prepping and sending Amazon FBA shipments for retail arbitrage in 2021 can help you get started.

Step 1: Source Products
The first step in preparing your Amazon FBA shipment is to source products to sell. Look for high-demand items at discounted prices in stores or online. Keep an eye out for clearance sales, liquidation sales, and other opportunities to purchase products at a lower cost.

Step 2: Create Amazon Seller Account
To start selling on Amazon, you’ll need to create a seller account. Choose between an individual or professional seller account based on your sales volume. Once your account is set up, you can begin listing products for sale.

Step 3: Label Your Products
Before sending your products to Amazon’s fulfillment centers, each item must have a unique product label. Amazon provides FBA labels that you can print and affix to your products. Make sure to follow Amazon’s labeling guidelines to avoid any delays or issues with your shipment.

Step 4: Package Your Products
Carefully package your products to ensure they arrive at Amazon’s fulfillment centers in good condition. Use appropriate packaging materials, such as bubble wrap or packing peanuts, to protect your products during transit. Label each box with the appropriate shipping label and include a packing slip inside for easy identification.

Step 5: Create a Shipment Plan
Log in to your Amazon Seller Central account and create a shipment plan for your products. Select the products you want to send, choose the destination fulfillment center, and confirm the quantity of each item you’re sending. Amazon will provide you with specific instructions on how to prepare and ship your products.

Step 6: Prepare Your Shipment
Follow Amazon’s guidelines for preparing your shipment, including using the correct box sizes, securing your products with packing materials, and labeling each box with the appropriate shipping label. Double-check all the details of your shipment plan to ensure everything is in order before sending your products.

Step 7: Ship Your Products
Once you’ve prepared your shipment, it’s time to send your products to Amazon’s fulfillment centers. Use a reliable carrier to transport your products and ensure they arrive on time. Keep track of your shipment’s progress using Amazon’s tracking tools to monitor its delivery status.

By following these steps, you can effectively prep and send Amazon FBA shipments for retail arbitrage in 2021. With careful planning and attention to detail, you can streamline your shipment process and start making money through online selling. Good luck!

If any of the items are made in China (most probably are), do you have to have a separate label on each item stating "Made in China" or is that only if it is shipped from China to Amazon?

This was great. Does this tutorial still apply today in 2023. I'm kind of hung up on the whole label thing. How do you know what products need a UPC label? and Amazon provides the labels and you just printed them? thanks in advance.. Finally, do we need approval to sell some of the item you are selling, Shoes, toys, decorations, etc?

Horseshit. Selling on amazon absolutely sucks if you're new. They restrict EVERYTHING. You can't sell anything without approval, and you can't get approval for anything because the A.I. system is riddled with bugs. The chinese flood the market with crap, the fees are through the roof, and there is no one, I repeat, NO ONE at customer service to help you with ANYTHING. It's the biggest pain in the ass you will ever come across, so when you see videos of kids like this telling you how easy it is to make money on amazon, take it from someone who knows, THEY ARE LYING.

you should mention about the gated items. not everyone can go and resell nike products or disney. its patented. so do your research on what items you can sell that is not gated.
