Step By Step Tutorial: Shipping Products From China to Amazon FBA Warehouse

Amazon FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) is a popular way for sellers to reach a wide audience and simplify the shipping process. However, many sellers source their products from China and may not be familiar with the steps involved in shipping products from China to Amazon FBA warehouses. In this step-by-step tutorial, we will guide you through the process of shipping products from China to Amazon FBA warehouses.

Step 1: Choose a Reliable Freight Forwarder
The first step in shipping your products from China to Amazon FBA warehouses is to choose a reliable freight forwarder. A freight forwarder is a company that specializes in organizing shipments for individuals or corporations to get goods from the manufacturer to a market, customer or final point of distribution. Make sure to choose a freight forwarder that has experience shipping products to Amazon FBA warehouses and can handle customs clearance.

Step 2: Obtain the Necessary Documentation
Before shipping your products, you will need to obtain the necessary documentation for customs clearance. This includes a commercial invoice, packing list, and shipping labels. Make sure to provide accurate information on these documents to avoid any delays in customs clearance.

Step 3: Prepare Your Products for Shipping
Once you have obtained the necessary documentation, you will need to prepare your products for shipping. Make sure to properly pack your products to prevent damage during transportation. It is also important to label your products according to Amazon’s guidelines to ensure they are easily identified at the FBA warehouse.

Step 4: Arrange for Transportation
After preparing your products, you will need to arrange for transportation from China to the Amazon FBA warehouse. Your freight forwarder can help you coordinate this process and choose the best shipping method based on the size and weight of your products.

Step 6: Clear Customs
Once your products arrive at the destination country, they will need to clear customs before they can be delivered to the Amazon FBA warehouse. Your freight forwarder will handle this process, but it is important to provide accurate documentation and comply with customs regulations to avoid any delays.

Step 7: Deliver to Amazon FBA Warehouse
After clearing customs, your products will be delivered to the Amazon FBA warehouse. Make sure to provide Amazon with the necessary information for them to receive and process your products. Once your products are received, they will be available for sale on the Amazon marketplace.

In conclusion, shipping products from China to Amazon FBA warehouses may seem daunting, but by following these step-by-step instructions and working with a reliable freight forwarder, you can ensure a smooth and successful shipping process. By taking the time to properly prepare your products and monitor the shipment, you can maximize your chances of success on the Amazon marketplace.

Please please slow down when presenting. The accent is undiscernible for Americans and Brits, particularly when spoken at warp speed. Excellent ideas and input, but the number one rule for Youtube is audio editing. Otherwise, excellent advice.

Thanks for the video, I am a bit confused about printing and creating labels. How are we going to send the created labels to the supplier in china ? Do we have to print them on our printer and than mail it to our suppliers in china ?

Hi , very good video, very helpful.
Question, on some other videos I watched they say you have to put an FNSKU label on each item, is that correct? You didn’t mention about that in your video.

Quick question, probably a noob question, but when I have a shipment EXW, I will need to arrange for the boxes to be picked up from the manufacturer – which is fine. But I want to understand is that if I need to send the shipment to Amazon FBA warehouse after the boxes have arrived to… say… San Francisco, who will arrange for the shipment to be shipped to the FBA warehouse? Do my shipping company for the ocean voyage also arrange for that to be sent in-land at the U.S.?

Thanks for this detailed step by step video! What if one of the boxes has a different size, weight and different number of units. For example I have 4 (12x12x12 boxes with 100 units each weighing 50 lbs) but there is one odd box that is 8x8x8 with 80 units and weighing 35 lbs. How do you input that?

In case I want to use FOB method… then where do I pay the dutys fees? Will amazon contact me or I will have to do it my self… ?

Right now I have a company in Greece I have already created several items with my brand on it and I do have stock in Greece which I would like to send to FBA…
However in the future I would like to send them directly to FBA as there is no need to bring them to Greece first and go trough custom clearence..
