Aoa brother. One should avoid giving opinion about a subject if they don't have proper knowledge. Doing a contract with supplier mentioning they will buy from them when they get an order and would sell for any price of desire is not enough and haram because one needs to have the product already bought and in possession before receiving orders. 2 – Adding an Order button instead of Buy does not make it halal. One needs to add a disclaimer that the company does not have any inventory and acts as an agent only taking a % of the product price. In shariat one needs to have paid inventory of a product before receiving orders or selling it. In case of online orders, you can put Order now button on only those orders where the product is not available in your inventory i.e if the customer asks for a customized product or stock has ended. Putting Order button on every order with zero inventory is haram. In short modern way of dropshipping is strictly haram. It can be halal only if one has paid inventory of the prod or acts as an agent. If one has paid for product but its being stored somewhere else and the company storing the product manages shipping, one has to charge the customer same shipping cost e.g company manages the shipping is doing it for 3$ for an order, then one has to charge same 3$ of shipping from customer and needs to reimburse any extra shipping cost. In case of acting as an agent you will only take a percentage of price of the product. But in thise case one can take the percentaged amount from the buyer not from the customer. If they are taking the percentaged amount from the customer then they cannot take it from the supplier. In other words one can act as an agent for either buyer or customer not both. Commission as an agent has to be a percentaged amount of the price but has to be less than the product cost. E.g one can take 1 or 2$ commission on a product costing 5$ but acting as an agent of the supplier and selling a product to a customer for 20$ whereas the supplier cost was 5$ is also haram because taking 15$ commission on a 5$ product is haram.
