Top 10 Strategies for Selling DVDs on Amazon FBA in 2023

Selling DVDs on Amazon FBA can be a profitable venture, but it requires strategic planning and effective execution. With the rise of online streaming services, many people still prefer to purchase physical DVDs. If you’re looking to sell DVDs on Amazon FBA in 2023, here are 10 tips to help you succeed.

1. Research the Market: Before you start selling DVDs, take the time to research the market. Look for popular and in-demand titles, as well as niche genres that have a dedicated fan base.

2. Price Competitively: Pricing your DVDs competitively is crucial. Take a look at what other sellers are offering and price your items accordingly. You may also want to consider offering discounts or promotions to attract buyers.

3. Optimize Your Listings: When creating your product listings, be sure to include detailed descriptions, high-quality images, and relevant keywords. This will help your DVDs stand out and improve their visibility on Amazon.

4. Use Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA): FBA can significantly streamline your selling process. By letting Amazon handle storage, shipping, and customer service, you can focus on sourcing and selling DVDs.

5. Keep Your Inventory Fresh: Regularly update your inventory with new and popular DVD releases. Staying on top of current trends and customer preferences will help boost your sales.

6. Offer Bundles and Sets: Consider offering DVD bundles or box sets to attract buyers looking for a complete collection. Bundling related titles together can also increase the overall value for customers.

7. Leverage Customer Reviews: Positive customer reviews can greatly impact your sales. Encourage satisfied customers to leave reviews, and promptly address any issues or concerns raised by buyers.

10. Monitor Your Performance: Keep a close eye on your sales and performance metrics. Use this data to make informed decisions and adjustments to your selling strategy.

In conclusion, selling DVDs on Amazon FBA can be a lucrative business opportunity if approached strategically. Did what you said step by step, and have been denied multiple times using christianbook. I have everything in order, they keep saying that i've submitted an invoice that hasn't been fulfilled. I don't know what else I can do to prove to them that I have the dvd's, the invoice, the tracking info. I feel like everyone is just copying and pasting the same video telling people how to get ungated, but no one has done it recently to prove it still works.

Not sure what I’m doing wrong, but the application I’ve submitted to get ungated in DVDs is just sitting under pending. I took the first one down after a week of no activity, and then submitted it again a few days ago. Any suggestions?

Hey Raiken, do you absolutely have to buy the dvds you sell from a distributor? Or is it allowed to stray away and sell dvds you buy second hand from people selling their collection? Will Amazon ever have an issue if you sell dvds that aren’t from a distributor

Great video Steve, this is perfect. I've seriously leveled up in the past three weeks and I'm salivating knowing how firmly this will set me on top of my current daily sales goal. 8 weeks from now I'll be in a completely different universe so I really can't thank you enough for your enthusiasm and dedication to people you don't even know. God bless you, man!

Those JFJ use essentially friction to sand down those discs.. the problem is the heat can wipe the memory of the discs.. I have roughly 50k in resurfacing units but they use water as to keep the discs cool.. so your only issue is (has this disc been resurfaced before) there is ways to tell also if you take them too far down you can also tell if you are getting into data.. lastly if you can test the data through scanning software and a disc drive to make sure if you question it

I sell new media with remainder marks, like holes and slashes, as "like new" and mention the mark.
