Hi Elliot, you give very good information, every where you go in Spain. I am Dutch and my Hubby is American. Live in Germany. This year my hubby want to retire. I prefer to move to Valencia. My Spanish isn't so good yet. I come from Amsterdam, haven't live there for 20 years now. I love my town, it is so expensive now. Never been to Valencia, I feel it is the Spanish Amsterdam. I am looking forward. Still have to get my hubby so far.

Thanks Elliot for a tour of the Rustaffa hood. It’s really cool and you missed some of the best streets to explore, but it really comes alive just after sunset. It seems like at most intersections on the small streets there are all these mostly outdoor cafes where everybody seems to know everyone. That market is fantastic and I prefer it to the Central Market. Plus in 15 minutes or less, your in old town. It’s very trendy now. I’m thinking of moving to Patriex (sure I spelled it wrong) as it’s more of a place for locals and a bit cheaper. Hopefully by summer if possible.

Would you consider that part of Valencia like like Lincoln Park in Chicago?
