When Your “Bestie” Turns Out to be Totally Fake | Watch the Drama unfold on AwesomenessTV’s Next Influencer #Shorts

We’ve all been there – when you thought you found your ride or die, your partner in crime, your bestie. But then, out of nowhere, they turn out to be fake AF. It sucks, it hurts, and it’s a tough pill to swallow. But hey, it happens to the best of us.

On a recent episode of AwesomenessTV’s Next Influencer, the contestants were faced with a tough challenge: dealing with fake friends. In this social media-driven world, it’s easy to get caught up in the numbers, the followers, the likes. But what really matters at the end of the day is the people who have your back, who support you no matter what. And when those people turn out to be fake, it can be a hard lesson to learn.

So, what do you do when your “bestie” turns out to be fake AF? First and foremost, remember that it’s not your fault. People change, sometimes for the worse, and it’s important to recognize when someone is not being genuine with you. It’s okay to be upset, to feel betrayed, but don’t let it consume you. Surround yourself with true, genuine friends who lift you up and support you.

Secondly, don’t be afraid to confront the situation head-on. Talk to your friend about how you’re feeling, express your concerns, and see if there’s a way to work through the issues. Communication is key in any relationship, and if your friend is open to hearing you out and making things right, then there may be a chance to salvage the friendship.

However, if your friend continues to show their true colors and refuses to change, it may be time to reevaluate the relationship. It’s important to prioritize your mental and emotional well-being, and if someone is bringing negativity into your life, it may be time to let them go.

In the end, remember that it’s better to have a few true friends than a bunch of fake ones. Surround yourself with people who make you feel loved, supported, and valued. And don’t be afraid to walk away from toxic relationships. You deserve to have people in your life who are real, who are there for you through thick and thin.

So, if your “bestie” turns out to be fake AF, remember that it’s not the end of the world. Learn from the experience, grow from it, and move forward with confidence knowing that you deserve genuine friendships in your life. And who knows, maybe AwesomenessTV’s Next Influencer will help you find your new ride or die.

Rave and Owen are not too different, honestly. During the very first episode, Owen was also full of himself, claiming to be the most handsome and charming person.

But when Rave applies the exact same ego and manipulation tactics, people demonize her.

Whereas they still consider Owen likeable and funny.

    Sexism, if you ask me.
