I totally agree. You're a remote worker, not a tourist. You'll still need to be disciplined and focused, meet deadlines, devote some time to your personal finance and tax, etc. It's location independent work but it's still work, not a pleasure cruise.
Hi Christina, I saw the wonderful video you did with Cassiy! Super inspiring. I wanted to ask about the non-compete you use with VA's. What stipulations do you have? For example, they can't have a shop on Etsy (or other platforms)? And for how long after you work together? I've done a lot of non-compete's but this will be the first for my Etsy store. Hi Christina..I was just wondering if there any limit on the number of listings we can post on Etsy per day as a new seller?I have 150 t-shirt designs Ready to go for my General print-on-demand apparel store on Etsy but not sure if I can post all 150 per day or should I take it slow and post 50 designs per day for the next 3 days! Hi Christina, fellow digital nomad here, woohoo!! How cool is life right now? I freelance on Upwork pretty successfully and trying to build an Etsy store right now! Question: do you offer the 35$ Free Shipping Guarantee in your shop? I do and I'm struggling with that because it is eating up all my profits. When I offer a 15% discount on my items, then once people order 2 things and get free shipping, I make hardly any profits, considering 6.5% Etsy fees as well. And if I price my items even higher I end up way more expensive than the others. Considering I'm a new shop trying to grow this is tough! What do you suggest?

Hey, welcome to Thailand! I live in Phnag-nga and you were one of the many who encouraged me to start my POD business. It's been 6 months now and I have had 2 bestsellers and also been star seller for 3 months in a row. Still growing and waiting to do it as a full time but slowly slowly 🙂 I wish I started during the Covid though. This time it's so much more challenging but not impossible.
While I do not mind traveling, I find it difficult to work for individuals who possess less intelligence than myself. In retrospect, the ignorance of others has been a motivating factor for me.
Finished the Google Digital Marketing & E-commerce course and have been slowly working on an online store as well as writing often. I want to leave Portland in November for Thailand and Vietnam and be gone for the winter at least. If things work in my favor, perhaps continue travel. Either way, it will be worth the cost for the experience and way more time to work on what I want. This video came at the right time, completely validated what I've been thinking in terms of mindset, goals, pros and cons etc. Im stoked.

I’ve put off starting with Etsy because you have to pay to list everything up front and then you have to pay up front if you do print on demand. That would require cash and I don’t have it.
