Amazon FBA/FBM Orders: Dispatched, Pending, Cancelled [Hindi/Urdu]

Apr 27, 2024 | Amazon FBA | 4 comments

Amazon offers two main ways for sellers to fulfill orders – FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) and FBM (Fulfillment by Merchant). In this article, we will discuss the different types of orders that sellers may encounter on Amazon – shipped, pending, and cancelled orders.

Shipped Orders:
Shipped orders are those which have been successfully processed, packaged, and shipped out to the customer. In the case of FBA orders, Amazon handles the entire fulfillment process, including packing and shipping the order to the customer. This means that sellers do not have to worry about the logistics of shipping and can focus on other aspects of their business.

In the case of FBM orders, the seller is responsible for packing and shipping the order themselves. Once the order has been shipped out, sellers can mark the order as shipped on the Amazon Seller Central platform, which will notify the customer that their order is on its way.

Pending Orders:
Pending orders are those which have been placed by customers but have not yet been processed or shipped. In some cases, pending orders may be delayed due to factors such as inventory shortages or payment issues. Sellers should regularly check their pending orders to ensure that they are processed in a timely manner.

Cancelled Orders:
Cancelled orders are those which have been cancelled by either the customer or the seller before they are shipped out. This may happen for a variety of reasons, such as the customer changing their mind, the item being out of stock, or the seller being unable to fulfill the order for any reason. Sellers should keep track of cancelled orders to identify any patterns or problems that may need to be addressed.

Whether using FBA or FBM, it is important to stay organized and proactive in managing orders to provide the best possible experience for customers.
