    Just because it happened to me, it happens to everybody is what I hear from this. Survivorship bias is a thing. If you look at statistics, most places still hire people with degrees and it makes a lot of difference for senior level positions, promotions, raises etc.

    Great it worked for her but that’s a dangerous message to send to someone who can completely waste their prime years where they could have studied and got a degree but they didn’t and live to regret it later in life. If you are working in tech, a degree in any tech or stem field will probably help you in some way.

    That being said, with how absurd the tuition fees are, I can understand the dilemma many people face when it comes to getting a college degree. I would recommend applying for scholarships and look for work study programs to help you instead of relying too much on predatory student loans. Good luck.
